Uncle Nearest1856 Premium Tennessee Whiskey 70cl, 100-Proof, 50% ABV

The flavour of this drink reminded me of how whiskey tasted some 50 years ago. There is a element of richness to it which has a chocolatey sweet taste with some strong spices (I can make out the vanilla) coming through but of a quality and elegance much associated with more expensive spirits.

I bought this more for the story rather than the product. I’m not a whiskey drinker but wanted to have it as a representation of my respect for the story of Uncle Nearest.

Brought as a present was a bit short in the bottle
