awesome heat sink
Absolutely fantastic heat sink...ran my brushless rv on 11.1v 5200mah, battery warmed up more than the motor...wish i had bought this before i burned out the original motor, i think this might have saved it. I highly recommend for 1:10 scale brushless motors...simple to power, plugged right into the aux port on the Rx. Remember if you are an off roader, tap out the fan housing from time to time or debris will slow down the fan.

It was a 1 use wonder
Bought arrived on time and looked ok, new to the hobby so didn't know what to expect. I installed on my Slash and went to the ball diamond. After about 10 minutes running the bases I pulled in to check the motor and the fan wasn't turning. The car was dusty but the day was dry and no water around. I tapped the fan and it started back up. I ran for another 5 minutes and after checking I found the same thing but this time the fan didn't come back on. After taking the thing home I got wrapped up in work and didn't get back to the car. I finally took the thing off and when I grabbed it I found the fan blades and bottom of the motor falling out of the bottom, there wasn't a fan shield like there is on top. I also noticed that of the four screws that hold the fan bracket onto the heat sink that the 2 not under the fan were missing and the other two were loose. Figure Integy would have those in with loctite. Very unhappy.

Works okay, but there are better options.
This works, but there are much better options for similar prices. This heat sink does not have big fins, and barely covers half the slash brushless motor. The fan also sits too far above the heat sink to really pull the heat out of it. It kindof just creates a little air flow around it. The fan is also really really loud, vibrates the body clips like crazy, and the fins break really easy despite it having a guard above it. I would recommend the SkyQ heatsink instead. I was much happier with that one. I was a little disappointed because I like other things that Integy makes. Just not this headsink.

Decent heatsink, crap fan.
Mounted this on a Rustler 4x4 VXL knowing the fan was a POS and it proved to be exactly that. The fan lasted less than 5 minutes on 3s before it burnt out. Construction of the fan is also subpar. Very, very flimsy. The heatsink and fan mount though are decent. I put a higher quality fan on the mount and it has been good to go. It fits reasonably well on the Rustler's VXL brushless motor. If the fan was as good as the mount, it would be worth the $15. In reality though, you're paying $15 for a small heatsink/mount.

Good deal !!!
Great deal !!!Fits perfect on Rustler VXL with no modifications. Comes with the plug that you need to cut in. I guess if you in the game of rc cars you know how to do that.We my son and I modified ours to sit more over the motor and the fins comes with necessary spacers to do that just little imagination. We rotated our motors so modified fans sit better.

Minor modifications needed to fit Rustler VXL
Had to do some modifications for it to fit on my Rustler VXL, had to grind down the edges of some fins so the heat sink could fit in the gap between the motor and transmission case. But once installed, it worked great!!! Motor has not gone above 100°F. I swapped out Integy fan for an extra Traxxas fan I had just to match! I recommend using Thermal paste between heatsink and motor to aid the heat transfer... I also cut vents in the body to increase fresh air flow to fans.

This is worth the money. Really keeps the engine cool.
The media could not be loaded. My rustler vxl has for some time had a overheating problem. The engine would get so hot that you could not even touch it sometimes without hurting your finger. But when I installed this, my engine was able to run hard and it will be really cool. It feels like the engine gets no where the temp it used to. It fits on the rustler ok, and it works fine.

Stay away fan went out after first run
Complete junk had to take out my vxl motor and rotate it about 90° to even get it to fit then there was still a slight gap between the motor housing and the bottom of the heat sink in places . Then the fun started ran it for about 30 min to discharge a 2s lipo charged the battery took it out the next day and the fan was rattling like a bearing was going out and it finally quit working . So after about a total of 40 min the fan died the heat sink keeps temps down a bit better than not having one but would do a better job if it fits like it was supposed to and the fan didn't die pretty much out of the box . Wouldn't buy again

Just OK
Expensive and requires serious modification for best fit and longivity purposes.
