Winsome Kaya 2-Piece Conductor Stool Set, 12H in, Solid Wood, Coffee Finish

I bought these as stands for some vintage speakers, as it's tough to find stands for the older boxy speaker type (think vintage JBL or Klipsch), and I didn't want to pay for custom stands. However, now I'm tempted to buy another set just to have around, as these are super sturdy and frankly look lovely.Pros:-Price! Got these discounted for $40, which seems like a screaming deal-Nicely finished-Very solid, with absolutely zero wobble-Well-packaged with no assembly requiredCons:None thus far, I will update the review if I find anything to complain about :)

So nice to find what appears to be natural wood products. The stools are perfect and the color of the stain is a lovely walnut brown, not as dark as so many other stains you see - just the correct shade to allow the grain of the wood to show through. The only drawback - not even sure you could call it a drawback, and certainly not bad enough to deduct a star - is the cellophane wrap around the seat. It completely encircles the seat, top and bottom, and the only way I could remove it all was to slightly loosen the screws, since it was in between the bottom of the seat and the legs. I then merely tightened the screws after pulling out the cellophane - very easy. If given the choice, I am glad the seats were protected so well, thus, “not a drawback.” The price was also excellent, so if you can use two stools, do not hesitate to order these - you will not be disappointed. These are very nice little stools and came fully assembled (which I didn't expect). They appeared to be very sturdy and well-made. I love the cutout handle, makes it so much easier to grab and move. One thing to know is that the feet don't have any padding so on carpet is fine, but on tiles or hardwood floors, you need to get some of those felt pads for chairs.One of my stools has some small scratches on it so I am a little bummed, but not enough that I want to return or exchange.

5 stars — These are the replacement step stools I've been searching for.12x12x12" stools made of wood (or close enough) are apparently hard to come by. I want something big enough to stand on, that gives a reasonable lift, without taking up a lot of space. I use it to reach high cabinets *and* so my arthritic cat doesn't have to jump as high to reach her sunny nook. These are perfect.OK, there is one flaw: there's nothing on the feet for friction or padding, so depending on your floor, they could slide or scratch. It's easy enough to get some stick-on silicone feet.They look nice for el-cheapo materials/stain, they hold weight without complaint, and they are the size I hoped for.I had planned to buy only one, but I'm happy with the spare.

These are great hardwood stools, perfect size and height. Very solid stools and a value for two stools. I must say perfect in every way.

The stool is sturdy and attractive. I'll use it most days in my kitchen because I'm short LoL. The quality seems very good. Didn't love the cellophane covering the parts (before assembly) and therefore stuck between the pieces when trying to remove it.

I have had several of these type stools for years. I finally decided to get one for every room,just for the connivence of having them right when i need one & not having to go downstairs or where ever to fetch one. I'm old now, these are sturdy, love the center handle & look nice! just get them...no regrets will happen

Junk. Item arrived cracked. Not worth trying to return BOTH!? Both stools are also starting to loosen.

I bought 2 of these stools on sale for Boxing Day. I realized the next day that I could really use four so I ordered 2 more the next day. The first shipment came with a broken support on one stool so I was advised to ship it back. I waited 2 days and the second shipment came. Another broken support. Spoke with Amazon Customer support and they assured me the next shipment would not be a problem. It wasn't. Yeah, I love these little stool* What a great find and a great buy. If you can get them on sale bonus. These are awesome*

Full wood step stools. Looks really nice. Well painted. Easy to use and move. Hard to take the plastic wrap off. Screws are mounted at an angle.
