Got these because we were coming close to killing plants all the time. They work good for smaller potted plants than larger ones. They just don't have enough water for the larger pots or you end up refilling them more often.

I always had to guess how much to water my indoor trees, to properly maintain them for a week, between watering? The problem being, BOTH to much water, or not enough can harm them. My fail proof method is, the water spikes! They only dispense as much water as the plant needs. If they empty prior to my weekly watering I fill them up and stick them back in the soil. once the proper amount goes into the soil, the remainder gets dispensed automatic as needed. My trees are looking better then ever, and no more guessing for me!

I went on vacation and worried about my plants. I bought these they worked great and they add a little whimsy to my plants.

When I came back from my trip, the globes were still filled with water, did NOT release any water into the plants, they were all dry. Would not purchase again or recommend to anyone.

These are fantastic for your plants. If you forget to water, they do it for you. How great is that? Just be careful, they are glass.
