Like any other cocoa butter, it's pretty hard. I found it better to scrape the top with a spoon and it was easy to get a "shaved ice" type of consistency- further making it super easy to melt on a double boiler. It smells great!! Not sure what others expect on the negative reviews. It's RAW cocoa butter, it's not going to smell like a candy bar (there's no milk, sugars, vanilla extracts, etc). Easily mixed in with other butters and oils. So far it's been working great for my eczema. It's a little greasy but that's expected. About to make another batch of whipped body butter. Will definitely purchase again!!

Ok, love this cocoa butter! Smells great, feels silky on my skin and apparently tastes great too!!! Because it comes solidified I had to microwave it in order for it to liquefy. Well, my genius husband smelled it after it came out of the microwave and proceeded to dunk His breakfast biscuit in my cocoa butter and cleaned the entire bowl before I’d discovered what happened. So it can truly Be used for the body inside and out.

I used this to make my soap. I love the feel of cocoa butter. It creates such a soft lather that feels great on my skin. It rinses off easily and leaves my skin feeling soft.

I got this for my pregnancy belly to use daily and it arrived today. First initial impression it smells delicious like I walked into a chocolate store. Then I realized it’s really hard like doesn’t come off unless your hands are hot. I put it in a pot and melted it and then in the fridge for 20 min and whipped it in a kitchen aid with a whisk tool and made whipped cocoa butter. Just tried and it does work great and goes along way with just a little. Other then it coming super hard and needing to be melted to be able to use it, I think it’s a great product so far. I think the smell of it also makes me confident it’s sourced from an authentic place because the palmers certainly doesn’t smell like this at all.

I like that this is RAW and has no synthetic ingredients, also I like that I could get this in the larger amount. I use it for its moisturizing properties and the smell is nice

What in the world!?!After peeling the tamper resistant wrap off the plastic lid, I tried to put some cocoa butter on my finger to apply to my face. Didn't work at all. I had to use something hard to scrape a little bit out. The butter was amazingly dry and hard.I tried rubbing a little bit on my lips and face. Awful! It felt like I was rubbing cooked grits on my skin.4 hours later, the consistency was still the same.I turned the plastic container around so that I could read the label on the lid. That's when I discovered the cracked plastic from the rim to the base. The crack was about a half inch wide.I'm returning it.

Thus is the second time I have purchased this product. The price is reasonable and it last me for almost a year. I do wish they provide instructions or a better way to liquefy the product. Highly recommend.

The wonders of cocoa butter like my childhood. I've been using daily all over, even face. Smooths my lines, looks like it's even softening/ fading some discoloration ( I'm african american and suffer from some hyper-pigmintation) my legs are smooth, elbows as well. I'll be keeping this as a go to beauty product. I forgot how well natural cocoa butter works at a great price
