After years of fanatic dedication and affinity to analogue watches, I decided to add a smart watch to the collection. I was looking for something simple, with a classic, discreet look and without too many gimmicks. Answering phone calls, getting social media notifications, gps locations and pay by watch are not really my thing ; instead, I find basic fitness applications such as step count, heart rate etc. more useful functions to have on the go, even though of questionable accuracy.Through my long winding searches I "bumped" onto the Hybrid HR on Amazon and I immediately realised it was ticking almost all the boxes (and probably more)! I must say, I own another Fossil watch which has been serving me well for the last 8 years, hence I did not hesitate to go for this one.Although I am writing this review after a mere couple of days of ownership, I am already quite impressed and happy with my purchase, which was apparently more competitively priced on Amazon. The watch came already 50% pre-charged and it was easy to set up by downloading the Fossil app, pair and configure. Indeed, like other reviewers mentioned, the graphics are a bit small but not really a big issue for me.As you may have expected by now, I have switched off all notifications from social media and phone as well as the sleeping pattern tracking function, as I do not really need them. It would be interesting to see how long the battery will last under this configuration.I find the fitness functions fairly accurate after having compared them with a dedicated for the purpose monitor that I own. Initially I thought there was a problem with the step counter, heart rate and temperature as they did not update frequently, but after a while I was glad to realise that it is just the update rate that is slow and not the values.The watch sits nicely around my thin wrist and looks classic and discreet. I also like the strap's concept of plastic underlay with leather top layer, which makes the strap easy to clean when needed and matching the aesthetic design of the watch.Time will show whether this excitement will be long lived, as it still early days. However, the watch looks, feels and serves exactly as I was hoping, so far. No fogging/steaming were noticed, although it has been fairly warm and dry in the English Southeast the last couple of days. I will be updating this review in the future, if any issues immerge.

Was a well received gift. Easy to set up and perfect size (for thinner wrist) not enormous thick & clunky like regular smart watches which is exactly what I had hoped for in the Hybrid. Went for dark brown (like a dark conker) as even more like a regular watch. Display is small as people had commented on in the reviews which is the only fault I can see (or not well :) but can get round with glasses! Although probably could develop bigger in the future without losing design in my books which would be good, just the numbers as will get used to which circle the data refers to so text could remain smaller to fit (Fossil please take note! Would be 5 stars otherwise!). The 3 setting buttons on the side are not too fiddly which is good. Like that it vibrates when get a message as don't always notice on phone. Can see heart beats per minute, steps, Calories burnt, running on the watch face once connected with smart phone Fossil App (easy to do). Can also view FULL data on the App: Sleep - light, deep & heart rate during sleep & total hours you slept for as a bar chart over the night & percentage on the App (was OK to wear at night). Gives resting heartbeat too. Can change look of watchface, how you want it to appear, set goals, weather, music control, alerts for favourite contacts etc. Battery life good (day 3 at 91%). Also comes with mini disk charger which attaches with a magnet, so really easy to charge. Lots available on this watch to suit what you want & App simple to use so can keep changing too! Very happy, so far so good & glad I went with it after a lot of reading up before hand!

I waited a while before sending a review. I really like this watch and I am happy with the functions. I use the sleep tracker but I found the strap it came with a little uncomfortable, so replaced it with a new, softer strap. The battery life is great. Very smart looking and you can alter what the displays. The app is great and easy to use. The messages and alerts are really good, I can see most alerts and messages easily enough. The face is a little darker than some pics shown of the watch, but still stylish. I feel I have got good value and a smart watch with analogue hands too! Best of both worlds.

Let's get this straight from the outset. This is not a smart watch with a zillion different apps and features, but a hybrid watch with only the features you need. This also means that the battery life is really superb. They say 2 weeks and I would say that in normal use two weeks is the minimum. In reality though about once every week or so I stick it on the induction charger whilst I shower ad by the time I put it on again it has charged most the way up. I could charge it during every shower but it just isn't necessary.Many have said that the screen is too tiny to read. I am hopeless without my glasses and would have to agree, especially in poor light but again to the first statement of this review - it's a hybrid watch, not a smart watch. When it vibrates on my wrist I can see clearly enough whether its a Facebook notification, news item or if someone is trying to reach me and act accordingly. i.e. pick up the phone.Some have criticised the illumination function and whilst I get where they're coming from, I'd have to say that this is a non issue for me. If I need to see the time in the middle of the night I can either look at the luminous hands (which do seem to glow all night) or press the back light function which is perfectly adequate to read the watch hands in silhouette.Setting up the watch to sync with the phone is a breeze and syncing the data each time I look at the app happens quickly. Using the phone app to change settings on the watch and/or read the data is also a breeze.Let me sum it up by saying that I am so impressed by this watch that I have bought a second one for my wife, an avowed techno-phobe!

Para mi gusto el reloj perfecto. Smartwatch con lo que ello implica: leer mensajes directamente en el reloj, ver quién te llama, notificaciones, etc. Y al mismo tiempo agujas físicas, con lo que no tienes que estar encendiendo la pantalla cada vez que quieres ver la hora, e información básica (fecha, temperatura, tiempo... es configurable) siempre presente gracias a la tinta electrónica. Además es muy cómodo, tiene el tamaño perfecto y apenas pesa. Con esto para mi es más que suficiente.La pantalla es configurable hasta cierto punto, con opciones con fondo negro o fondo blanco. Incluso se puede importar una foto desde el móvil para ponerla de fondo (en blanco y negro, claro).Las funciones de salud no las utilizo (ni me interesan demasiado), pero tiene lo básico: pulsaciones, calorías gastadas, pasos, sueño, etc.Sorprende ver perfectamente la pantalla a pleno sol (al contrario que las pantallas virtuales, en ésta cuanta más luz mejor se ve). Y estando a oscuras, con la luz integrada (dando dos golpecitos al cristal) se ve perfectamente.Totalmente recomendable. Yo lo volvería a comprar sin dudarlo.

Produk spełnia oczekiwania, długi czas pracy na baterii, powiadomienia o połączeniach oraz aplikacji. Możliwość doinstalowania dodatkowych tarcz. Co do liczenia kroków i pomiaru tętna - działa. Nie mam porównania z innymi zegarkami więc trudno mi określić czy dobrze. Jedyny problem jaki napotkałem to powiadomienia o smsach- aby dokopać się do wiadomości trzeba przejść przez informację iż aplikacja SMS jest aktywna i tak za każd smsem. Nie wiem czy to problem telefonu (Xiomi) czy alokacji fossil. Dla mnie to jednak nie problem otrzymuje bardzo mało smsów więc wyłączyłem powiadomienia. Nie żałuję zakupu, przede wszystkim dobra bateriaa oraz ładny wygląd w porównaniu ze smutnymi czarnymi tarczami smartwatcha. Pasek zegarka skórzany, wygodny po całym dniu i nocy ręka daje radę. Nie zauważyłem problemu parującej tarczy zegarka - ale tutaj trudno wyrokować mam go dopiero od tygodnia. Polecam.

Eerst wilde ik niet aan de smartwatch totdat ik de hybrid modellen zag van Fossil. Ik moet zeggen dat ik er echt heel erg blij mee ben. Hij oogt als een gewoon horloge maar toch is het smartwatch. In het begin is het even wennen omdat alles werkt via je telefoon en de knopjes anders werken dan je gewent ben op een horloge. Maar als je dat eenmaal door hebt dan werkt het perfect. En bij Amazon was de prijs ook nog eens veel lager dan bij andere winkels.

J'ai choisi cette montre pour le côté hybride, look normal superbe et fonctionnalités utiles ......je ne m'étais pas habitué à une montre tout numérique, gêné par l'écran noir en veille. Après une première montre fossil hybride d'ancienne génération(affectation du cadran à des applications), je suis passé à cette hybride HR depuis 3 mois environ ! le point le plus fort pour moi c'est la longévité de la batterie qui tient plus de 15 jours sans recharge, avec le cardio en temps réel !! remarquable. Second point fort la personnalisation possible de l'écran kinder intérieur, qui vous permet de changer régulièrement ou d'adapter l'affichage à vos impératifs (taff, sport, perso...)son look est ses mensurations de montre classique sont vraiment classe tout comme sa finition...seul bémol perso j'ai changé le bracelet copie cuir par un bracelet métal finition noir plus pratique !! je recommande sans modération
