Great to store brushes to keep shape only! No wet paint...it dries out.
Well I know it's advertised as saving from cleaning a paint brush to use in same color within a day or two but really it's not. It dries out. BUT my husband and I are painters and hate those drabby shabby sleeves that come with the brushes and we all (any painter) knows they tear apart then you have to try and tape them together to put your wet paintbrush back in to keep it's shape (important to any daily painter). THATS what we use these for. They store our brushes. That's it. Keeps the brushes shape and from dust getting inbetween bristles moving from one job to the next while it's still damp or over the weekend in the toolbox. That's all we personally would recommend them for ourselves and will be buying lots more for that specific purpose but that's about it. If your a painter by trade these are an asset to saving money on new brushes because your bristles are now all over the place in every direction because your sleeve finally had it's last fold and shredded. Worth the money to save some money.

Simple Yet Necessary Tool
I am not a professional house painter but I skirt on the edge. I only buy and keep using tools that are essential for me to produce a finished product that is simply amazing. This tool helps me achieve that goal because it does a fantastic job keeping my brush wet when I need to put it down to roll the wall or such. I do not use it for storage longer than an hour because I think that amount of time would exceed its limitations. It is deceivingly simply yet an essential and GO TO tool for me. In fact, I bought 2 more of them to keep various size brushes wet for short periods of time. Buy one and you will understand why it is so great!

Seal is never tight enough.
I bought 3 of these after many folks recommended them. All three of them had just enough of a defect to not work for very long. The first: foam kept getting caught up at tip enough to let air in. Next day the brush was hard as a rock. The second: slight warp to the cover was just enough to let air in at the corner. The third: no clue what was wrong with it but next day brush was rock hard. I’ve learned to snap them shut and tape the edges.

So-so
I saw these on Shark Tank a couple years ago. They do the job if you just want to avoid clean-up within a short duration job of a couple days. But the claim that you can go up to two weeks of storage is not the case. My brushes, despite having a lot of paint on them pre-storage as instructions suggested. dried out in less than a week causing me MORE cleanup and damage to the brushes while doing heavy cleaning. So, if you stick to using them for short-term brush storage of a couple days or so, you'll be happy, but not so much if you think you can store longer.

This cover works great and keeps my brush fresh between coats
This cover works great and keeps my brush fresh between coats, even between days on the job. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is that while it is a great idea, you can get the same results by just dropping your brush into a zip lock bag, which is a cheaper option. I bought one of these to try and it works great, just can't see myself buying a whole bunch.

Good Idea - really poor material
This seemed like a good idea and it did work at first. I used it to keep a brush in when I was applying polyurethane, so I didn't have to clean the brush between coats. The brush would be in the holder less than a day and it did keep the poly from hardening - at first. The problem is that the material warps and does not seal all the way around which defeats the purpose of the holder. Would definitely not recommend this holder. I think if someone makes a holder like this out of the right quality material it would work fine.

Snaps right around the brush, works great
My husband stains things. He usually uses a baggie to put his brush in to pick up where he left off. I got these thinking that it would be a good idea. No. They are a GREAT idea. They kept his brush moist and he didn't have to rinse in between his sessions. Much better than putting it in a bag and letting it sit on my counter. There is foam around where the handle is so that you get a nice seal as well. great product.

Not for oil paint IMHO
I used a brand new brush that I cleaned once. I was using oil paint, so I cleaned up with mineral spirits. I cleaned and dried the brush before storing it. But other cover has warped and will not stay closed.I'm assuming it's a combo of the paint and cleaner reacting with the cover.I intended to used these to protect them bristles on my brushes and I think I can find a better solution. For latex paint they appear to work great.

Great
It’s great for storing my paint brushes. Don’t know how well it works for putting wet brushes in it though.
