Monopoly
Traditional and fun perfect for two or family of four. I have enjoyed this game since I was 10.

We love that this version of the game has a speed ...
It was a hit with my nephew for Christmas! We love that this version of the game has a speed die that makes the game flow at a much quicker pace. He also loved the limited edition golden tokens that were included in the older version of the Monopoly game and the tokens that were voted on in the newest edition. It is a cool, collectible version of the classic.

You got to pay to play
After 1st set of stickers game is set up to for e you to spend money. Also the 8 rolls an hour is ridiculous. Game also not giving hold stickers. Just not fun anymore. So sad

True to the original... except for the Monopoly money.
I found the answers to the buyer/seller questions are completely wrong: The board folds into quarters, not halves, and it is indeed square, not oblong. I also found that, contrary to the image on the box, the board and property deeds all refer to money in dollars ($) rather than the newly-adopted 'M' for Monopoly Dollars. None of these aspects are detrimental in by view. However, one thing that isn't mentioned by any review, buyer question, or product description: The money included with this version adheres to the new color scheme rather than the original (10's are blue, not yellow; 50s are purple, not blue). To me, this is a big drawback since it's probably the most glaring/confusing change and seems to be the only way this version doesn't hold true to the original game. Another slightly disappointing discovery was that the Chance and Community Chest cards have been revised with different wording and new rendered graphics, which takes a lot of the charm away. The cards are also the same size and finish as the Title Deeds (the Community Chest cards are also blue instead of the original yellow). The houses and hotels are plastic, the prototype tokens are fun to have, and the included banker's tray seems to have plenty of spaces for keeping everything sorted. Overall, a good buy. But if you're a purist or don't want to deal with having to re-learn the money colors, you'll have to spring for a pack of monopoly money with the original color scheme and track down an original set of Chance and Community Chest cards.

Just like the old days
I was so happy to once again play the Monopoly I played as a young girl. What a great game! I love having all the token pieces plus the extras. I did have one unpleasant experience. I originally place a pre-order a few months ago (February?) and expected to get it end of March? The actual dates escape me. Anyway, I never received my game when I expected it and don't recall getting notified by Amazon that there was a delay. Turns out I wasn't getting it so I had to place a new order through another vendor on Amazon. So I finally received my game intact and I'm happy. Still love Amazon, not their fault I didn't get my original order but the vendor they used never notified me that I wasn't getting the game through them. Oh well. That's why I use Amazon, I feel protected when I buy from them.
