Perfect hat! I’m a woman with a small head and assumed even with measurements the hat might be a lil too big. It was (even size small) however there is a great little Velcro sizer underneath the inside hat band that can cinch to tighten. Brilliant! Fits perfectly without having to add the foam stickies for size (also included). Hat was packaged protectively so as not to crush and came with instructions for folding/packing and chin strap. Loved the hat so much in black that I ordered the beige as well.

The hat can be rolled up and packed. I rolled up mine according to instructions and stuffed it in a suitcase during a 6 hour flight. When I took it out, it popped open perfectly into it’s original shape. It actually comes with a nice plastic zip up case, if you have room to accommodate it and don’t want to crush it. It’s simple, sturdy, and good value for $. Shade-wise, it definitely covers my ears, eyes, upper cheeks, all but the end of my nose. Also, I have a freakishly broad head, and the juxtaposition of wearing a typical pointy, pinch-topped fedora with the downturned bill usually only looks ridiculous on me. Makes my face look even more chubby and round. I figured fedoras are only meant for models and skinny guys. But the crown on this Genoan fedora is deep and broad, and looks more natural on my watermelon head. 😆

I own 30+ fedoras of all shapes, styles, and materials and I can honestly say that this fedora is really nice looking and exceptionally made. The issue with me is that this hat is very thick, almost like it is made of two-ply material. It's built like a tank. This makes the hat very heavy and hot to wear. It almost seems like it would be better suited for fall/winter wear instead of spring/summer. I live in the Phoenix area and this particular hat is too hot and heavy for Phoenix spring/summer temperatures. Though I do prefer a tall up-brim, this hat's brim is a little too tall for my age and fuller face. It's better suited for younger or thinner men like shown in the picture. I ended up returning the hat because the hat just wasn't right for me personally, but it is one heck of a nice hat for sure.

This is my third time buying a Pineapple and Star hat , it is good quality and enjoyable wearing them in the summer

Exact fit

I am inbetween small and medium. Per their documentation, if you are between sizes you should choose the smaller size. The smaller size is way too small. I have put this in a hat jack for 2 weeks and expanded it as much as I could every day. Perhaps this material won't stretch. But I have been unable to make this hat fit comfortably.

Well been looking for a nice hat that’s NOT a Fedora. And was well made and fitted and meant to last. Well I measured as per description, and it arrived in a great package, that I can use to travel or even store my hat and have for many more years. Comes with extras to help if in between sizes. Nothing seemed to have been put aside to make this hat and delivered properly. I will certainly look for more options from themCheers
