I have a 7ft tree and had more than enough footage. So much so that you can see from my video I left some lights on the tree skirt. The control is fool proof and there’s also a lot of [clear] extension cord to plug in from a distance The only thing I don’t care for (and this is being knit picky) is that the piece that holds the bulb is white and therefore does not blend into the tree well.

I received the lights, the instructions and the battery for the remote, but no remote. Fortunately, this has a white built-in remote control box (next to the plug). This had most of the same features as the missing external remote (except for the timer and brightness settings). For me this wasn't a big deal: because I like the brightness as is and because I planned to use an external timer instead (sort of like the one currently sold on Amazon entitled, "BN-LINK 7 Day Heavy Duty Digital Programmable Timer, FD60 U6" for $13). Having an external timer gives way more control over when the lights turn on or off.Other than the missing remote, I really love these lights. They were very easy to install and use. A major plus was that the light pattern I set on the built-in remote, returned when powered off and on!! With this single string of lights, I was able to cover the eaves and trim of my whole house and even had enough left over to light my bushes and plants as well!! The light patterns are phenomenal and made my house look the most elaborate on our block (please see the video)!! I used the wave setting which changed colors and from afar it looked like they were on fire!! Almost all of my neighbors commented on how well these looked and were amazed that it was just a single strand. I highly recommend this product!! I just hope you get the remote with yours! ;-)

Totally impressed with this product. Originally I was very hesitant about buying these because the LED lights weren’t too big but that did not change the performance of the product so don’t let it scare you. They are super long and was able to cover my whole house with one pack.*** update *** I just bought two more and put along my driveway. I will be totally buying more in the future if I still need anymore. Another REAL big +++ is that they have so many Coker modes for strobing or just steady lights so dives options for everyone.

I decorated my 30ft Christmas tree in my front yard with these lights. Bought 6 of these to decorate (its a big tree), and one came with faulty controller, which did not light up (found out after I put it up on the tree....). The other lights worked fine except for that one, the controller unit failed after snowfall. The lights lasted about a month, but two more controllers failed. If you disconnect the controller unit (the one that does color changes, etc.) and connect the light strings directly to the plug, they will work. but will just be the neutral yellow color. Until the manufacturer fixes this problem with the controllers, you should not buy this product.

When I ordered these I thought there was no way they would light my 9ft tree, but I made it one trip over the whole tree with extra to put on and fill in spots! I will buy me some sort of spool because I think that would help a ton with not only storage but reapplying the lights. The lights are very bright but I can adjust and make dim at night with the remote control. My kids love to experiment and change the colors. They do have one flaw though that I feel could be greatly improved. Cord to the lights is white and is very noticeable on a green tree. If they could make it green or even black it would make a ton of difference! I think when I get the tree decorated though it won't be as noticeable.

After having built a fence to enclose part of my property earlier this year I had been thinking for a while that I wanted to be one of the houses at holidays (Christmas this year) that you always slow down to look at and say "Wow!" Well, with these lights the first phase of that is complete. I was able to string the most road-visible part of my fence easily with these. I was a bit concerned initially because the lights are so small that they wouldn't be bright enough. I was wrong. They look fantastic at night and I love the different operation modes! Highly recommended and I look forward to getting more of these lights to complete my grand decorating plans.

Sadly after a whole 7 days the box (as pictured) that communicates with the remote quit working and we woke up to no lights. When removing this and attaching the cord end directly to the power box we at least have white lights but thats not what I paid for. After refusing to take my tree down 2 weeks before Christmas I finally got an agreement to be sent a replacement without having to return. Not reasonable to ask a customer to have no Christmas tree due to defective product. Disapointed in product and service this time around. We'll see if the replacement lasts longer than 1 week.
