After gardening for 30+ years with flimsy bottom trays I have had it. I am a bottom waterer and over the weekend I cleaned up water from yet another cracked tray. I bought 5 of these last week knowing that it was time. I wanted to try them out and then decide if they were worth what they cost. They are firm and heavy duty. The test will be an entire garden season or two. After a week , I am happy and ordered 15 more trays to replace the old leaky ones.

I have used several types of trays for starting my seeds as you can see in my photo. These trays have been the only ones to survive several growing seasons and poor storing because I’m imperfect and forget to put things away. My teenager who has to help transport seedlings to the garden, told me this May to get more of these trays (bought the bright green) because the others “suck” and these are solid and can hold so much more! So they are worth the money and are on my Gardening list to purchase more for next season! I’m getting rid of the cracked flimsy others that cause a few cuss words to slip from both of us and replacing with these!

These trays do exactly what I wanted them to do - hold my chili pepper seedlings so I can more easily move them around and bottom water them! I can fit 10 pots in each of them (4" pots)!They are pretty sturdy - not flimsy at all. The came packaged well, with all 5 stacked together providing an even sturdier stack for shipping. I didn't have any damage at all from shipping.I like that I got 5 of them even though I don't need that many for my pepper plants - I use the trays to bottom water some of my bigger potted plants before setting them back outside. I'm also glad that I didn't have to buy 10 when 5 is already more than enough. :)

These are not light weight, throw away trays... They will carry more than twice the load of cheap trays and will last for years with minimum care.

Not much to say. The trays are stronger than many trays that are cheaper. Worth extra cost. Has a bottom that can keep a bit of water for humidity or to keep roots from sitting in water. Also adds strength. I never seem to have enough of these trays, and learned any money spent on crap, weak, cheap trays is wasted

I have used and abused these trays! They are so sturdy and have held up really well. No cracks or breaks as of yet!! Will purchase more of these without hesitation.
