It wasn’t too difficult to install as per my husband but it still took quiet some time to figure out. Instructions are clear but make sure you have a handy person who knows what they are doing. Once installed, set up is rather quick. I wish it had an option where it would automatically unlock your doors as your phone got near your home. Had some issues with the lock but I was able to contact aftersale customer service and they were able to resolve the issue quickly.

Update: The company contacted me by text message to my personal cell phone and offered to provide a free wifi bridge, due to my previous review. Although I was a bit surprised to be contacted in this manner, it does demonstrate to me that the company is concerned about customer service. The wifi bridge has not arrived yet, but I am increasing their review to 4 stars for their effort at customer satisfaction. Previous review: First the good: it looks decent. As a basic lock it functions adequately. It has an auto lock after a certain time period that you can set. This works after you have unlocked it digitally but will not work if you unlock it manually from the inside. It’s still a nice feature. The keypad lock and unlock works well. However, there are keypad only locks on the market that work equally well for half the price. The selling point on this was supposed to be that it works with your Wi-Fi through either Alexa or Google nest. You need the Wi-Fi bridge if you want to send electronic keys or open it remotely. Unfortunately, in order to make this happen you have to buy a separate Wi-Fi bridge, and after you purchase it you either have to have a place to set it such as a table near your door, or be OK with leaving the Wi-Fi bridge on the floor.The installation instructions are astonishingly bad. Not just because it’s clear that English is not the first language of whoever wrote the instructions (I could forgive that), but you can tell that whoever wrote the instructions never tried to put this thing together. That being said, if you take your time it will go together, it’s just that getting the gasket to stay in place during the final assembly takes quite a lot of dexterity. The keypad functions, but there has been a time or two when I had to tap it several times to wake it up. I guess my biggest gripe about this product is the fact that you have to buy a separate Wi-Fi bridge in order to use with Alexa or Google. In the description it says works with Alexa so that’s what I was expecting. I suppose technically it does work with Alexa, just after you make a separate purchase. This seemed somewhat disingenuous to me. All in all, it’s adequate, but I’m not truly happy with my purchase Because there are keypad only locks available for half the price that work just as well. In my opinion the Wi-Fi bridge should be built into a device, but I probably would have been satisfied if it had simply come with the required Wi-Fi bridge. Hopefully the manufacturer will take note of this feedback. Should you buy it? Well, it’s an adequate low budget electronic lock that looks nice. Just know that you will need to add a separate Wi-Fi bridge which is an additional purchase and an item that you will need to find a location for.

I've rewritten my original review:Originally I gave this lock 3 stars because there was no code entry feedback. Since that original review I went back over the settings and discovered that the entry code feedback could be turned on. That changed everything.Overall installtion was not too difficult. I've installed smart locks before and for some reason this lock needs an addition screw hole. I just ignored it and left the one long screw off because I didn't want to drill an additional hole through my door.I purchased a gateway and got all of that working fairly easily. Even got Alexa to work with it. That's the good thing about this lock. If you want a lock that works with Alexa this one will do the job.The problem I originally had with this smartlock is that the touch screen seemed almost unresponsive and didn't have any feedback sound to tell you if the code you entered actually took. I at first thought that each number has to be pressed very slowly and deliberately or it wouldn't take but actually that worsn't the problem.Then after going through all the settings I came across one called "Lock Sound." I thought maybe that meant that once you entered the code the lock with set off a sound to let you know that the lock open or closed. I was wrong. Lock Sound is chinese for Keypad Sound or Keypad Feedback. It means that when you press a code you will hear a beep. This is an option that should have been "on" by default. Otherwise a first time user doesn't know if he's misentered the code. Once I put "Lock Sound" to the "on" position I had no problems with this lock. I know when I've entered the code and I know when it has locked or unlocked.And BTW, you really need to have the keypad sound on because the lock is so quiet you can't hear it lock or unlock. I had a Schlage smart lock on my rental unit and when it locked you coud easily hear it so this was what I was expecting. Not this lock. That's not a problem but if you can't hear the keypad and you have a quiet locking mechanism you have no clue if you've entered the code in corrrectly or if the door has unlocked or locked.So if the manufacturer is reading this review, please do yourself a favor and rename "Lock Sound" to "Keypad Sound" or "Keypad Feedback" and set the default value to "on."

***UPDATE**** customer service contacted me after I made this review and have been AMAZING trying to help problem shoot my issues. They even sent me a gateway! Idk if the gateway has made a huge difference but it did help some! Very impressed with the customer service aspect!The keypad is SUPER delayed!! Thank god you can use the app to unlock the door because the keypad is so slow and delayed it takes 5 mins to try and unlock the door! Installing wasn’t horrible but it’s not the easiest either. Would give it 5 stars if I didn’t have such a hard time installing it and if the keypad wasn’t so slow.

Ordered this lock to finally setup keyless entry in our house. It was very easy to install in the door and simple to configure with the proprietary app.It doesn't configure with wifi/remote control without additional hardware, but that's not necessary for us and provides a great value for the price. Batteries last a long time too so didn't have to change them often and haven't needed the backup battery process.We had a small issue with the device down the line but the care team was responsive and took care of us without delay, which is as much as you can hope for with any product.

Honestly, this lock works great for what it is at the price point. If you want wifi Alexa or Google integration, then preperae to spend 100 bucks more or so.Going back to the lock itself, easy to install as long as you follow the YouTube instructions. I found YouTube guide better than the provided booklet.The features are really good and are easy to set up via ttlock. You can unlock it via phone app, code or keys, locking can be done manually, via phones or automatically scheduled.Also, you can register the lock with multiple house members, each member will have their own code. Codes can be customized , or automated. Codes can be permanent or scheduled to expire. Great features.Nice sliver satin nickel finish with illuminated buttons.

The lock looks great with it's modern feelIt was not easy to install, best to have a professional do it and even then, make sure you read the guide more than once as it's obviously translated from another language and the words are not always clear
