I was very pleased that the power adapter arrived the very next day after I ordered it. The footprint on the new adapter is considerably smaller than the OEM Dell that lasted for over a decade. I like that the new adapter also has led indicators to show it is powered up.

After multiple tries with other dealers who said it was the right power cord for my laptop, yet none of them fit I finally got what I needed. The listing was clear and showed a picture so I knew what I should be getting. It fit perfectly, doesn't get too hot when in use and the price was more than fair. Will definitely shop with this dealer again.

I bought these as spares for my classroom, since we have a 1:1 chromebook program at our school. These are lightweight and seem to work well, at least for short periods of charging while students are working. The most notable "quirk" is that while they are plugged in there is an audible buzz they emit. It doesn't seem to cause any trouble, they do not generate heat or have any other alarming issues, I would say it just isn't silent like the name brand charger that I also have. All in all, I am pleased with this purchase and will update this review should anything change!Update: My first review in May 2017 holds true today in February 2018. The chargers still make a quiet noise when plugged in, but they have not posed any hazard or had any issues charging. They have held up under the wear and tear of classroom use, with no loose wires, loose connections, cracks, or splits. Still a very satisfied customer!

give these folks five starts. the first adapter they sent had a bit of a buzz - this was distracting to my granddaughter, and so we decided not to use it but to just keep it around. when i provided the first review with less than 5 stars, i got an immediate email inquiry from the company. the representative was *very* concerned about my less than satisfactory reviews. they offered to send another adapter completely free of charge with their apologies. i received the adapter and it's worked beautifully. very responsive to consumer concerns, and good quality products.

So when the charger is plugged in but not connected to my computer, it makes a weird humming noise. It charges my computer just fine but it’s weird. Also, the connection from wall to the charger often falls out. I got what I paid for. It does the job to charge so for the $50+ I saved compared to buying it from dell or Best Buy I can deal with these annoyances.

My daughter seems to Go though chargers like water this one worksbandnwas cheap. Cant. Beat that
