I am about 200lbs, 5'4 and carry most of my weight in my fat fanny pack (what I call my lower stomach)..I ordered a size 6x...the fit was great! The breast area was a tad big but I tightened is much as I could and decided to wear a fashion bra underneath. The skirt itself is very short but if you don't plan on wearing it out of the bedroom it doesn't matter...the top of the corset fit right to the bottom of my fat fanny pack, I like that it wasn't too short exposing my most unflattering part of my body..it isn't super cheaply made material and it's really cute on.

By itself, this set does nothing. I bought the recommended size and the top was loo large for me - even with the lacing completely cinched. The boning is flimsy and the fabric stretches which probably is the reason why the fit runs large. The skirt runs small - or I've got a big booty (take your pick) compared to the top so it didn't cover my bottom but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I decided to keep it because when worn as a top over a real underbust corset the look is AWESOME and works as club wear.

Great for the money....read other reviews...on sizing...so i got 5x sizing and i wear an 18. Fits well. But definately runs VERY small for average american sizing.

Product run more true to size. I ordered way too big, but having it altered to remove two sections of the boning; so I really do love it. Great little piece!
