My grandpa gave me this old record cabinet from the 60's and I immediately wanted to freshen it up to better fit my decor. I bought new legs and knobs from Amazon as well as this peel n stick vinyl paper. This stuff did not disappoint. It is thick, easy to lay with no air bubbles and it really adheres well. There is a strong smell at first, like that of polyurethane or oil based stain. It quickly goes away. I've used several different versions of this kind of sheet vinyl and this is by far in my top two favorites. Best part was, besides not having bubbles, I didn't have to "activate" the adhesive with a hair dryer like I have on so many others. Also, it has a nice matte finish and the gold wood grain accents have a more shimmery metalic look. It's exactly what I wanted for an updated Mid Century modern look. Now just waiting for right record player to sit on top. Don't hesitate on buying this paper. Sometimes you get a lot more than what you paid for.

This peel and stick is ideal. The paper is thick and sturdy. The adhesive has holding power for all your surface BUT will not stick to itself if you are clumsy like me and touch the sticky sides together lolIt was easy to cut with an X-acto knife and scissors. It is super easy to clean and looks way more expensive than it is.It has brought new life back into a piece of furniture my mom had saved from when I was a kid (I’m 40 now) and it looks wonderful thanks to this easy peel and stick wall paper.

This gold color, wood grain adhesive wall paper is a beautiful and affordable option to personalize my office cubicle area. Alittle difficult to remove the bubbles and repositioning created creases, but the grain pattern helped to camouflage the imperfections. Would definitely purchase again!

Easy to install

I got this during a lightning deal. I didn't really have a project in mind. I originally planned to spray paint my filing cabinet. Since I purchased this contact paper I decided to use it instead. Cutting it to size was kind of a pain because it kept trying to roll back up on itself. Getting it to stick on tye front of the drawer was easy, I was able to smooth out any bubbles using a craft scraper. It can break/tear if pulled too hard or if you accidentally bump something into it as well as if you have an edge cut into it if that gets bumped or pulled it will tear, though it does feel sturdy and thick otherwise. It does not stick well to a curved surface. The drawer fronts have a seamless rolled metal edge and it was a fight to keep it sticking. I even sanded the edges to give it a surface to grip to and used alcohol to clean all the surfaces it would touch. Even using the craft scraper on the edges did not allow it to stick. I even tried to heat up the surface and the contact paper to help it adhere. Once I started, I didn't want to just give up, so I did finish doing all the drawer fronts but it was a long, painstaking process and I ended up using tape to tape down the edges on the inside edges of the drawer fronts. If I had to do this over again with this paper, I would simply give up. I originally thought I would cover the whole cabinet with this paper but that idea was quickly scrapped. If you are doing a completely flat surface and you can cut your edges down precisely, then this will work fine. If you have rounded, narrow surface I would say find something else. It is so pretty though.

I bought 1 roll for the pattern, it's beautiful, hands down and looks just like the stock photo.After I had the roll for about a month I finally decided what to do with it... my closet doors!The contact paper goes on like a dream! Wrong placement at first? No problem, it peels back with little effort to reposition.After adhering to clean closet doors I hit it with a heat gun to blow out tiny air bubbles only I could see.Closet makeover under $40 and took about 2 hours for the whole process including heat gun.

Poor quality and very hard to work with. Advertised as peel and stick wallpaper - more like contact paper. Tears easily. Would not recommend if it is wallpaper you are looking for.
