Germane book for Banking Aspirants
Quite satisfied with this Book, All chapters including fiddly(Time & work, pipe & cistern, speed distance & time, %, CI and problems on trains) have Fast track Methods/tricks to solve questions, RS Aggarwal QA is just for concept building and it has very lengthy & basic solutions to all problems. And in banking exam, you can't manage your time solving like this. only problem with this Arihant book is less questions in each chapter whereas i was expecting 100-150 questions in each chapter because IBPS experiments new questions that's why I give it 4 stars. However there are two segment of questions in each chapter, the Base level questions and Higher skill level questions. You don't have to learn/remind tricks, Only practice questions multiple times automatically you'll be familiar with these. Paper quality is good enough and shipping was also good through GATI Couriers, I ordered on 8 June and received on 11 June. You should have at least two books for QA, 1- RS Aggarwal, Only for concept building and variety of questions, nothing special about it. 2- This one From Arihant for getting proficiency. That's it.

Good book. Nicely explained, with shortcuts.
Aa per the contents it covers 45 topics. Number series, indices and surds, avg, work time, area and perimeter, trigonometry, and charts are some of the topics. Now each chapter starts with 2 or 3 pages of theory which provides enough general idea about the topics ( each idea is explained with a problem as an examples ) and then there is the 'fast track techniques', and each formula is again explained with enough examples to grasp the idea. Every chapter has a min of 8 to 13 fast track techniques ( short cuts formulas). Cool..After that there are questions, around 100.. 120.. which is followed by its explanations at the end of each chapter.Everything is nicely explained.. Paper quality is good.. Good of SSC, CDS, RRB, BANK etc

BEST BOOK FOR ALL MATHS STUDENTS..
A good book for maths.. Has ample number of questions to solve both for a beginner and advance stage maths student..After reading this book I came to understand that it is good for some topics but not for all the topics..for practicing more one should go for Quantitative aptitude by RS agarwal as that book contains more number of questions. The reason I gave it 4 star because it is not a 5 star holding book as all the topics are not made clear from a beginner point of view but for advance stage users it is very good book. But the chapters summary are very well written with all the formulas with sufficient examples to understand the chapters.

If you're preparing for bank and ssc!
Good,i can't say that it's the best book for quant but it can be of great help if you're a beginner who has just started preparing mathematics and 'want to improve basic knowledge of maths then this book is good for you.But if your basic knowledge is good and your level is pretty advanced then I wouldn't suggest you to use this book, you may use RS aggrawal's or arun sharma's quantitative aptitude. The contents and the level is quite advanced in arun sharma's quantitative aptitude as it is specifically for the aspirants of CAT but this book covers all the basic concepts too :)

Great book faster delivery
Thank you Amazon for giving me such faster delivery with normal delivery charges. Hardly it took 48 hours including a Sunday and this book is in my hands, good packing USPSB people.Coming to the book it's too good, it is hard for me to understand arithmetic concepts as I'm from non maths background who is preparing for banking exams and other various government exams I needed a book which is simple to understand, can improve my speed and accuracy. I even tried Quicker Maths by M.Tyra. It's good but hard to understand and lengthy theory part. I was struggling with Tyra and accidentally I found this book on Amazon sale. I went through the book description and ordered. It is exactly what is mentioned in description. I hope it will turn good and help me chasing my dreams. I left only 13days for my ibps Po VI prelims exam

Though a top selling book but ....
I am editing my review of this book after using it for more than a month ..in my earlier review i had rated it 5stars bcoz in the first look ,the books appears perfect ...But this is not the case when you use it ...I will be honest in this review...1......The book covers almost all the quant topics,..2.....Each topic has been explained pretty well ..3.......There are short cut methods along with traditional method for most of the questions...........But ,,the but is enough for you to make some other choice for quant and that' but' is ::4...you will not find most of the questions asked in exams in this book ....And the worst thing is this book is not sufficient for exams like ssc ......And the short tricks given are formulas ..There are already a lot of basic formulas in quant : additional formula will only create confusion.....Final verdict :This book is apparently a best selling book ...But i think when it comes to prepare for competitive exams ,it is not the right choice ..Thanks..

very systematic but few mistakes
The book is presented very well covering each and every topic.Cons:1.In few topics there are wrong answers and mistakes.2. 20 odd pages are missing from 60-80.3. This book is loaded with shortcut formulas which might please some guys but genlly those shortcuts r useless since u can't figure out which one to apply during xam.Pros:1.Nevertheless good option over RS agarwal if u lack in basics and need more explanation rather than just a bundle of practise questions.2. Apart from shortcuts general approach is also given3.answers are written in a very explanatory manner
