I Give You the World

I buy my each of my kids a new quality book for Christmas Eve every year. We are expecting our third child shortly before Christmas and I came across this book as his/hers. While the whole story is absolutely adorable for any child (it does depict a new baby as the "you" in the title), I was really taken by the opening lines for a third (fourth, fifth, etc.) family addition. The author mentions searching for the perfect gift to give the new baby and, with two littles already, it's been difficult to buy pretty much anything we don't already have. This book helped lift that materialistic mindset and reminds parents of the intangible gifts we give all our children. Love it.

I ordered this book for a member of our bookclub who is having a baby. We all picked out picture books for a small shower during our monthly bookclub get together. I love how colorful and big all the pictures are illustrated.Perfect pixture book for new moms to read to their little one.

Grandaughter loves it sits and turns n looks at pages as grandpa reads it to her.

We got this book for our 3 month old son, such a sweet story and the illustrations are beautiful! Even though he can’t understand it yet, he still seemed to enjoy looking at the pictures while I read to him.

My son loves this book, he had a hard cover originally but he tore it apart. This is a softer hard cover. Book came in a very timely manner and was very well packaged

This is such a beautiful children's book. The text is rhythmical poetry, so my baby loves listening to it. It's such a lovely message for children from an early age - look after the natural beauty of our world. It would make an excellent gift to welcome a new baby or for a christening.The illustrations are wonderful to accompany the story.We got the board book version and it's really good quality with a nice padded cover. Seems like it'll endure the baby reading it over and over. A lovely addition to our extensive book collection! Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful book, beautiful story, beautiful illustrations my only issue and it's not really an issue but it's quite a big book so hard to turn the pages when you have a 7month old trying to wrestle the pages from your hands 😂

Such a gorgeous book. I've bought one for my nephew as a christening gift, one for my best friend's baby (due in November) and one for my daughter for Christmas this year. I can't recommend it enough!

A thoughtfully written and beautifully illustrated story, taking a child through a journey of life and the world. This has quickly become one of my daughters favourites. Thank you for such a wonderful book.
