Super impressed with this little generator!!!
This little generator is an awesome product. So far I have only charged it up once, and have used it several times with no depletion of its energy. It will be a great resource for any power outages we experience this winter, and it has been extremely helpful with providing an off-grid light source for my storage container when I need to look for something in the dark. I had a little trouble understanding how it charged when I first opened it up because the instructions weren't very helpful, but after I realized that it was charging even though there was no indicator light flashing then I got it fully charged. This is a great product in addition to the other solar lights I have up around my property, and unlike the emergency lights that only come on for a short period of time before going off it provides light for hours. It has three LED lights that are really nice and can be positioned in several places to provide a large light source. Overall anyone who purchases this item can have confidence in the fact that it will be a great resource for all your light charging needs.

Great cheap backup power and lighting for small usb devices
ProsLong Lasting LIthium Iron Phosphate battery / 84 watt hours is a good amount of backup powerBatteries are safer and more stable than Lithium Ion / Great backup solutionNice large solar panel that feels sturdy and high quality / Worked perfectly and changed faster then the brickIncluded lights worked perfectly and didn't overdrain the battery / Used lights and USB charger simoustanlyGreat value from what you get. Good to buy for camping or backup powerConsSlow 2A charging for the USB / No fast chargingBattery indicator is simple but effectiveNeed a 2A charger to charge and this can take 8-12 hours to fully charge / 8 hours full sun?Strange design but functional / Plastic is a bit cheap

So handy!! Small easy portable solar generator
I live off grid & use this for my tiny cabin lights, all year around. Lasts up to 4 or 5 hours used continuously. Charged by sun on solar panel mounted inside my window; or by USB cord or 12V car adapter when sun is too weak in wintry grey days.

impressive BRIGHT little light!
I got this for hurricane season, we're normally without power for at least a week, and my hope was to not having to worry about extension cords, using the genny's gas for light, or walking around with flash lights from one dark room to another. When we received it we charged it via the solar panel and packed it away. A few days after we had a storm at night (you can see how dark it was through our windows) that knocked out our power for about 5 hours. I got this out and put 1 of the lights in the power bank, and strung it up to the light above our table, I did use another light (not plugged into the power bank) just to hold the light so it was lighting up the ceiling ( light reflects off the ceiling and lights up a room better then it would just hanging in a downward direction). I didnt notice what brightness this 1 light was on, but it is BRIGHT! this 1 little light is nearly as bright as our normal light which has 5 chandelier bulbs! Our power was out for a about 5 hours and we had no problems at all. I recharged it when the power came back on and packed it away again...I will update when a hurricane outage puts it through a longer more thorough test, but right now we are very impressed and extremely happy with our purchase!

Bought it, didn't hate it, but returned it
Its tiny, and light weight. The lights are bright. It worked great as a set of lights for camping or in your van. Can't say I was thrilled with how much power was supplied... It only could recharge my phone once, but what can you expect for $60. The lights worked great though, and it did recharge with the solar.

piece of junk
Regretfully, I bought this 2 years ago thinking that it would be helpful if we had a hurricane, and the power went out. I put it away and forgot about it until Hurricane Ian hit us in Florida last week. This item does NOT charge at all. I tried plugging the battery into an outlet, leaving the solar panel in the sun for 2 days, and nothing. No battery power at all. Ugh, what a waste of money.

This is a great little unit and a surprising value.
Great things - the hardware appears to be stainless steel and it is *amazingly* easy to disassemble and reassemble, which is great. There is some glue on the inside but most of the fittings are mechanical (see inside picture) so if you want to customize this thing, you have space and mounting points. The solar panel seems decent (and definitely works) but I have not had enough sunny days since I received the unit to really have an opinion.Overall - 5 stars you cannot beat the price. There are some downsides -My test got me 80Wh, which is a bit under the rated maximum. If the cells are LiFePO4 (they are unlabeled) they usually test around 110% capacity new, so I wonder if the capacity might be more accurately measured at 72Wh? I am very curious what cells are being used and if I just tested low for some reason. There is also a LOT of empty space in the unit - I would love a version with six cells and 50% more capacity.
