This thin piece of junk was my review when I took it out of the box, but once I used it to fry chicken I have a change of mind.

I don't like the more than usual rounded bottom and wish I could find an eight quart pot stainless steel with flat bottom that doesn't cost $50, or more. I use this pot for cooking all types of macaroni, and find that rigatoni, ziti, and other tube types stick to the corners of the pot where the bottom walls are rounded instead of flat like my old pot where they very seldom stuck. We must have eaten most of the teflon that came off the old aluminum pot.

I'm not sure if it's light weight is a good or bad thing. I guess it's helpful when carrying over a big pot of boiling water, and is maybe good for your cooktop, but....it feels cheap. Well, I guess it IS cheap. As long as its actually stainless steel, I guess I'm good. Though I sort of wish I went with something else. It just weirds me out every time I pick it up. I got this when Ikea was closed down, but I sort of wished I waited until it opened. I've had those stainless steel pots and had to give them up in a move. But they're also cheap but a lot sturdier feeling.If you don't mind the really light weight and aren't a suspicious person like me, maybe get it. It's a good deal. It works for induction. The glass lid is nice. I've not had any other issues with it.

It is a beautiful pot! High-quality, sturdy, great handles and lid. I justused it to cook up a batch of ham and beans and checked on the cookingoften - mostly to just 'look at it'. the stainless steel is highly-polished, andso beautiful, that I keep in on the stovetop instead of storing it away. Thisis the kind of pot that will be a 'forever' item. A GREAT BUY!

I'm always in the kitchen cooking, But most pots & pans are somewhat heavy, especially when full.But this Pot is Great, not heavy & definitely not flimsy, and cleaning it is a snap. I recommend this pot to all the cooks out there, Young & Old!!!! Enjoy

The all around three ply works well. Have tried the bottom only three ply and they did not work. Hot spots on the side, etc. (I have a gas stove. The bottom ply may work better on an induction stove)Easy to clean, and I like being able to see the food while cooking.

Beautiful pot that is practical and has good weight to it, not flimsy at all. That goes for the lid as well, it even has a vent! Love the double handles, using two hands instead of one is so much more comfortable when lifting a pot with hot ingredients, it’s about safety really! Love it, try it.
