No problem with the butter itself, but the way it's packed makes it a bit difficult to measure portions - you basically have to extract chunks with a knife/chisel/sharp tool of your choice with a bit more effort required that expected. My suggestion is to buy cacao butter that's already packed in chunks or buttons.

This is fine (I’ve been making home-made chocolate with it) and the only reason I haven’t given it five stars is that it’s difficult to prise a chunk out of the tub without slicing through the plastic by mistake (and possibly your hand as well). I have now moved on to the cacao butter that comes as little pellets so it’s easier to weigh out the amount you need.

I just love the creaminess of this cocoa butter, particularly as it is caffeine free! It smells of chocolate, but doesn't taste of chocolate. It's a sort of smoky flavour. Use it instead of butter in sauces, etc. as I don't have dairy products now. Very useful product and lasts ages.

Great quality. It’s delicious added to hot porridge with raw cacao powder, blends and melts perfectly. Adds a smooth texture and light chocolately flavour.Bit tricky to get out of the pot since it’s really solid. I ended up (very gently!) poking a sharp knife in to get a small block off each time.Would be better as smaller pieces / balls / squares, but otherwise no complaints.

I ordered two tubs of this organic cocoa butter. I do not remember seeing a review mentioning what I found in my tubs. When I opened the lid I found hard, dry and rock hard contents - forget having a spoonful of this stuff! The only way I can get it out is using a knife and then is comes away in hard dry shards. In fact it is so hard and dry that the force I needed to use to get it out shattered the thin hard plastic tub, quite frankly it is a waste of money because now I don't know if there is shards of plastic in what is supposed to be cocoa butter. Just to make sure I didn't have a duff container I opened the second tub.... it was exactly the same. Not a happy customer.

I feel this product has made me appreciate the effort that went into creating the channel tunnel. Tastes amazing, but you need a hammer drill to excavate it from the jar (unless you heat it, and cool it every time) on the plus side it's a workout and a healthy treat!

This was rock hard, and although it says raw chocolate, it appears it was melted and pour into the container to take the shape of the container. It was impossible to get it out of the container without having to apply heat. I also hated that they would put organic food in cheap plastic as was the container.Would not recommend.

Love the smell of this product but appears to loose some of the flavour once heated.Maybe I should try using it in different ways to see which is best. Probably baking with it would be best suited.i however used it when warming nuts gently in a pan to use as decorationLove the brand - they always deliver on packaging and care of all their products.
