Kid's Outdoor Sandals

Knock off?! SEVERE wear on day ONE of wearing!
Usually don’t write reviews but felt like I needed to for these. Was super excited about these and happy to find they fit our kid great when they first arrived 2 days ago... the wear on these after ONE DAY of wearing them (indoors all day at daycare) is awful! The toebox blue had rubbed off substantially, the blue on the treds is almost fully worn off and now purple and on the sides of the shoes the blue has worn off and PINK is showing through in multiple spots! Again, this was after my kid wearing these, all indoors for 8 hours at daycare today. Not sure if this is typical with Keen quality (or if these are knockoffs?!) but it certainly is unacceptable in my book and they’re being sent back tomorrow! Beware!

Better than the Newport
We really like putting our kids in Keen sandals because they're so durable and easy to clean. Previously we were getting them the Keen Newport sandals, but the Seacamp ones were on sale, so we went with those this time. I like them a lot better. The sole is slightly slimmer and more flexible, and my toddler seemed to have a much easier time running in them. Unless the Newports are significantly cheaper, I would go with the Seacamps.I would add though that both sandals are a bit narrow in the toddler sizes. We always have to go up a size for my son, and he always outgrows the width before he fills out the shoe lengthwise.

Amazing love!
I always buy my kids their “summer” shoes in the middle of winter and their “winter” shoes in the middle of summer because you get WAY! Better deals I always Measure their feet first and then buy a half size to a whole size UP from what their feet Measure and it’s never failed me yet doing that, they always get to wear them through the season and then part of the next ( so say these summer Sandals my daughter will wear them this summer and she’ll get part of next summer out of them too before completely growing out of them and she’ll use them As back up’s since they get new pairs every year) and I LOVE these keen sandals!!!! They have such good traction nonslip which my daughter needs we do a lot of hiking and camping. And they are grate for while we are fishing because if she gets her feet wet it’s not a big deal they dry fast. No blisters EVER! Because of the good padding all the way around every edge of this sandal. Can’t go wrong with keen! And you can’t even tell she has some room for growing. I never buy them so big that my kids look goofy in them or that it causes them issues walking or they are clumping on their feet.I only ever give them about a half inch of growing room which is what’s recommended anyways when you go in a shoe store and get your kids fitted for buying shoes. They always say to buy a half inch bigger then what they are currently measuring when you measure their foot for growing room. And I love doing it this way it gives me a head start on getting ready for summer so I don’t feel overwhelmed and unprepared when it’s here same with winter and winters worse because it’s cold they can’t run around outside barefoot and be without coats and boots.

Best summer sandals for kids. LOVE Keens
I love Keens. This is my sons second pair of Keens. I buy them big so he wears them for 2 summers. They stay on just fine a little big the first summer as the straps are adjustable. They're practical, closed toe protects from stubbing toes, and best of all they are washable. With my sons last pair, we had no odor issues the first summer... The second summer they did start to stink but I was able to remedy that easily. Soak them in white vinegar for a little while... Then without rinsing off the vinegar, sprinkle baking soda into the sandals. Let it sit for a few minutes then toss them in the washing machine (vinegar and baking soda still on).. Wash in a regular cycle and then dry in the sun. After doing that just once we had no more odor for the rest of the summer and they continued to hold up fabulously.Sizing I feel is accurate. They're expensive but if you get a couple summers out of them they're well worth the money. We love Keens.

Great shoes but needed next size up
These are really great looking shoes. I purchased two pairs for our 3 year old twin boys and today's the first day they've worn them so I can't comment yet on how they'll hold up, but Keen's are usually very durable so I'm sure these will be as well. I was surprised that they ran so small - all of the other shoes we have for the boys are size 7 (toddler) - they cannot wear size 8 yet, but in these the 7's were way to small for them. These shoes in 8 seem to fit as all our other 7's do. The only other thing I find strange is the velcro strap itself; it's harder than most to pull it tightly because it goes through a loop which constricts it a bit, but I'm hoping that will ease up over time. Other than those two minor issues I'm very happy with these shoes and would highly recommend.Update: a year later and I'm buying the next size up. The shoes held up really well and seem to be very comfortable as both boys like wearing them. That said, I'm now buying a size 9 in these shoes when all of our other shoes are size 8 (8.5 max). All other size 9 shoes are too big for the boys right now and only these shoes are too small for them in a size 8. As long as you make the size adjustment you should be very happy with these shoes.

LOVE THEM (& adult sizing info)!
Adult woman here. bought them for myself. I find this pair more comfortable (light, flexible, close to the ground) than the Venice H2, and me and my feet love them! Sizing: I'm a women's size 7.5 (European 38) in street shoes. In these I needed a size 6 Big Kid (anything smaller felt too small). They're a bit barefoot-like and probably not for people looking for heavy arch support (but no, they're not barefoot to the point of feeling every pebble. and they do feel cushioned). I wouldn't hike in them (I wouldn't hike in ANY pair of sandals) because they're likely (like ANY sandal) to get pebbles and/or sand inside. I use them for everyday use (walks, home, out). They're probably going to be a bit hot in very hot weather (since they're a bit closed for sandals).

Good quality footwear
Brilliant all conditions footwear. Solid construction, easily adjusted for fitting and good quality materials. My little one loves wearing them to the exclusion of all over footwear regardless of weather.Well done Keen!I award four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Happy shopping.

Lovely!
Love these little sandals. They are perfect for my son. He has wide feet across the bridge of his foot but is not overweight and does not have thick legs. These shoes are a rare find. They are shaped properly, like actual feet and are wide where they need to be and not where they don't need to be. He loves wearing them in the sea and on the beach, so you don't have to worry about him walking on anything sharp and they dry very quickly. He loves climbing in them and they cling to the climbing bars and rocks like glue. Well worth the cost.

Simply great
Fantastic idea to offer them in black as they can be worn for school. Great design. Perfect fit. Comfortable.
