Pleased with this purchase after reading the reviews. Practiced at home on my mare, because she will pull to eat grass or whatever. Then used for trail riding all weekend, she was more soft, responsive, easy to neck rein around trees. Never once pulled. Very pleased and would purchase again. Now my hubby wants once for his young mare.

These work great. They are a little hard to get on but since I haven't had any trouble with them coming off, it's worth it.

I love how easy it is to get these on and take them off but unfortunately they are creating rubs above the corners of my mares mouth. This also happened to a friend of mine who is using them.

Exactly what we were looking for. We added a little padding to the plastic rope for more comfortable fit and cushioning.

Adjusted my horse's bridle and went for a ride in the arena all went well and we took off on the trails. My 18-year-old gelding was more relaxed and responded to leg and neck reining more so than using a Snapple bit. I think we both had a wonderful ride.This is a follow-up comment 7/27/2020 Reinsman 951 Mechanical hackamore has lived up to my expectation and have no problem trail riding with my horse So nice for him to get a drink and eat grass when we stop plus using leg and neck reining signals I think he response faster and smoother. My Cash is 18-year old AQH and well trained.

I bought this but because a number of my friends have it and love it. I’ve now put it on a couple of different horses and they all work really well in it. I can easily recommend it.

My gelding does not pack a bit well. I don’t know much about his history. He does fantastic in this hack. He’s an anxious and high strung horse but he actually will relax in this and give to pressure. I’m very happy with it and so is my boy!
