Worked well out deer hunting sitting in a stand all day. they dont get hot hot just as directions say - but more than warm enough. wore regular day to day socks, then a medium pair of wool socks and my feet were warm all day - 2 sets of batteries used to get through entire day of sitting at 17 degrees in Wisconsin. I turned them on immediately rather than waiting for cold feelings. Turned off a few times to save batteries. Highly recommend as my feet were always cold sitting in a deer stand all day - not moving at all. These things are great and again, work very very very well.

I live in Buffalo, NY. We are known for snowy winters. I had hoped that these would help keep my feet from freezing during the winter months, but the heat output is barely noticeable prior to going outside. And within 3 to 5 minutes of walking in snow, my feet were already freezing. But I kept using them for a few weeks in hopes that they at least helped my feet warm up once I was out of the snow. But after 2 or 3 weeks they just stopped working altogether. Wouldn't take a charge, remote didn't function anymore. Just an overall waste of time and money.Great idea, but if you live anywhere that you would NEED a pair of these, they wont help. But if you spend the winter in Florida and its still a little chilly for you, these may help

There are a few annoyances. Like that the battery that shipped in the remote was DOA, make sure you have a 2032 coin battery handy when these arrive, since I'm not the only reviewer to notice this. They are large and do kind of make your shoes not fit, so don't think you can just put these in all your normal shoes. You'll either have to buy new bigger shoes, or just relace some big boots that can accommodate them. After ripping out the existing insole (unfortunately kind of destroying it) of a pair of big boots I had and redoing the laces to make more room, I was able to get my feet and the insoles in a pair of boots. I also ordered a small when I probably should have gotten a medium, because Amazon's weird pricing scheme made that $10 cheaper and I'm a tightwad. I could have returned it for a medium and paid $10 more, but I ended up just modifying the heel a bit to keep the toe section at the tippy-toes of the boot, because that's where you need the heat to be happening. If I order these again I'll just spring for the medium. The heat lasts a couple of hours, not really all day. It isn't really "toasty," but does mostly keep my toes from freezing, and that's really all I needed. After I'm out for a while my pinky toe might start to get cold, I think if I'd just sucked it up and bought a larger size and trimmed down some of the extra, that would have fixed that problem. Without them all my toes would be little blocks of ice on the regular, so this is definitely improving my life just the same. I don't mind having a pair of warm boots dedicated to them. I even attached the remote to those boots so I don't lose it, because I know I would otherwise.

These work great but if your feet are already cold , they won’t warm them up quickly , I use these while hunting in tree stand , I turn them on soon as I get setteled in & they do a great job of keeping my feet warm . Don’t wait till feet are cold then turn on , turn on before feet get cold . Batteries seem to last good while , overall I am pleased with these

Concept is good but overall for my application they under perform. Both battery casings came off after 2 months and had to be taped back on to continue use. It may have damaged one of the batteries at that time because only one of the batteries is charging ever since. Toes could use a curve or cupped end so that they would heat from bottom and top. Charged batteries nightly and used daily but when you stand on concrete that's colder, it usually wins out.

They don't last very long if you use them alot when you are out hunting. Used them one season and now they don't work

I have fought with cold feet while hunting for years. I've tried many other product's but nothing has compared. I can not tell that I've changed the insoles in my boots and I love that I can control the heat. I have the warmers off whole walking and then turn on in my stand once they are starting to chill. I ended up buying my daughter a pair as well.

A nice idea that is undone by the poor quality. The batteries are a clamshell construction of some brittle plastic. Within a week the two halves had separated. This is likely to occur since when they are inserted into the heel of the insole, there is just a little indent to grab it with your finger, right along the seam. There would be a little tab that allows you to pull the battery out of the insoleThey replaced the defective pair and the same thing happened with the replacement. I tried to glue the batteries back together but they continue to split.It is also hard to tell if they are working. There is a little green light that flashes when turned on, but it is hidden when inserted.There have been times that one turns on and the other doesn't.Now I have four cracked batteries and no functioning insoles after spending nearly $100With a better design, better engineering, better materials, and some quality control. this could be a good product. Until then, save your money

I ordered these insoles because I have a "cold feet" problem (literally) related to heart medication decreasing blood pressure. These insoles were on sale at the time and seemed to offer a technically advanced solution (i.e fob activated). They arrived in a timely manner and presented as described in the product description. There is a little bit of prep/assembly/programming work to complete before you can use the insoles, but it is not too onerous. I was particularly impressed with the internal LED lights that flash in code to let you know all of the heat settings are working as they should (or not). The insoles seem to be working well i.e. warm but not too hot, albeit, I have not had opportunity to use them extensively, as yet. Basically, that's the only reason I have rated them as four stars. Once I have used them more extensively, they may well deserve a five star rating.Additional Notation: I just finished utilizing these inserts working outside all afternoon in -20° weather. They functioned beautifully and exactly as described by the manufacturer! I couldn't believe how well they kept my feet warm without developing hotspots or overheating. The fob works well when changing temperature (one of my earlier apprehensions). I used them on medium for most of the afternoon but then had to increase to the high setting as the outside temperature dropped even further. I could feel the temperature increase within seconds of pushing the "High" fob button. I used the entire battery charge in both batteries and I found that clicking the batteries out of the inserts to place in the charger was easily accomplished. The only improvement I could suggest is that if the batteries could last longer the inserts would be an even more valuable addition to coping with Canadian winters! Based on very satisfying performance I have upgraded my rating of the inserts to five stars.

These worked great on the 8 or 9 occasions my son used them for his ski lessons last season. This year, they are not doing much - just after the warranty passed. Very expensive for this kind of quality. You should be looking at other products and pass on this one.

Good seller ! Not the great heated insoles! Too thick not hot and some what not for Canada!

Work decently, battery high only last bout hour and half, but -30 ur toes r just little cold, not frozen stuff so that’s nice. Easy to cut size using old insole

Great set of insoles. Bought them for use in ski boots and they held up extremely well. They were comfortable, heated appropriately, and the battery lasted more than long enough.One thing to note is that they don't produce a lot of heat - they are designed to work with the natural heat of your foot. In other words, if you turn them on to test them indoors in an empty boot like I did you'll be underwhelmed at the amount of heat you can feel, which caused me some significant concern.That said when I turned them on in my boot on the ski hill my feat were warmed up within a few minutes. The remote was also a great feature to have!I've only taken one star down because it is a bit tricky to get the battery in and out of the compartment in the bottom of the ski boot.
