This is the best depiction of St. Francis in a statue I have ever seen.He looks masculine and in contemplation/prayer.The holy wolf by his side, actually looks, like a smaller wolf - and not a dog, like with some statues.The paint job is done well enough and it looks great!But, the statue is rather small, especially for the price!!I'm using this inside - on a table shrine - among my other statues.Only a 8" statue, and yes, it does have good paint job but almost $40 is way too expensive for this size statue.Christian Brands, if you're listening, make this same EXACT statue in a larger 12" size.Most popular Catholic home statues are 5" and 12".

It’s small. Very nice. Got it to celebrate the life of my son’s dog. Using in a garden. Very pretty. Wolf, dove, rabbit along with St Francis.Probably need to use reasonable caution where placed so it won’t be damaged.

I received it for a gift .. it is beautiful!
