Mutti Triple Concentrated Italian Tomato Paste Tube 6.53 Ounce | Pack of 12

I've been buying this product for quite some time. During the pandemic, I tried to have multiple tubes on hand. A little tomato paste, especially one this good, makes a lot of things taste better. I recently was down to my last tube, and so I looked to see what Amazon was charging. If I bought 2 tubes, the price was higher than at the store, but there is the benefit of home delivery. Then I spotted the option to buy 12 tubes. Almost as a joke, I checked to see what the price was. I was stunned, and ordered. I can afford to give half of them away to foodie friends and still break even relative to buying at my local store. Lots of positives. A great product at a great price.There are two things to mention. When it comes to tomato paste in a metal tube, I don't pay too much heed to a best used by date. For the tubes that I received, that date was in May 2024. I'm not worried about it, but if it concerns you, then perhaps this is not for you, unless you can find friends to share it with. The other thing was the packaging. The twelve tubes almost fit into the envelope used for shipping. The package had torn open, and several of the individual packages were a bit the worse for wear. The actual tubes of tomato paste were fine. I'll happily accept the battered boxes in exchange for a fantastic value.It will be a while before I need to reorder, but if the price is even remotely close to what it was when I bought this, I will be buying again. Highly recommended product. I dare you to find a better price. :-)

I use a lot of tomato paste. I loved this brand in double concentration. It is my go to brand. I thought M Glenn organic was the bomb until I found this! My fresh tomato sauce got an upgrade. This is the best absolute tomato packed goodness. Delicious.

It may be pricey but you get what you pay for in this paste. This triple concentrate paste is dark, thick and goes a long way. The flavor profile is rich, tomatoeeey and will elevate any tomato based recipe you put it into. This is the best of the best of the best. You owe it to your cooking-self to try it at least once.

You need less of this tomato paste than others because the taste is so concentrated and packs quite a punch. What a difference the right tomato paste makes.

I ordered the 12 pack. When it arrived I checked the expiration date and it expires in 2 months. There's no way I'll use it all by then. And because it's a food item, it is not eligible for a return. Oh well! I won't be ordering again...

A great product but every one of the 12 tubes beat up and bent without one undamaged box. I had planned on giving some as gifts but wholey unsuitable for such.

Beware. Two of the tubes in this box arrived leaking (i.e. opened somewhere in shipping) not obvious at first since they're individually boxed, so well past the return period. Good quality tomato paste though...
