This classic symbol is recognized all over the world. Thor, the Norse God of Thunder, is one of the most powerful Gods in mythology. This 1 1/4" solid pewter pendant radiates with that same strength and agility. Includes black waxed linen cord necklace.

It still looks great. The black is still in it
I have been wearing this exact pendant, bought from here, for over 3 years now. I swim in treated pools with it, I swim in lakes and take showers with it, I sweat on it while working, etc etc. It still looks great. The black is still in it, the shapes and patterns are all very defined still. I wear it all day every day, it never bothers my skin, it doesn't get in the way. It's not too heavy, but it's heavy enough to feel (and is) solid. It feels like quality. It's design is good, and has patterns on the front AND back. It's not so big that it looks goofy, it's not so small that it looks insignificant, it's not too heavy, not too light. It's about as perfect as a mjolnir pendant can get. In fact, I love it so much that I'm planning on upgrading it to the actual sterling silver version. I'll still keep this one because it has sentimental value now.I wear it on a piece of 550 cord. The 550 cord fits perfect, looks good, and is strong enough to hold a "necklace" shape without the mjolnir hanging too low and looking like it's too heavy for the necklace. Also, if you know anything about 550 cord, the stuff is VERY durable and strong, so it will hold the pendant just fine, and look good doing it. Plus, there's a million other uses for the rest of the 550 cord that's left over.I think this pendant should pop up higher on the list if you search "Mjolnir pendant".

For pagans and mythology lovers alike
Whosoever wears this hammer, if he be worthy (or not, we don't discriminate) shall possess a pretty nicely made Mjölnir pendant! Sorry, sorry, the reference was too easy.Truly though, I was impressed by the detail and feel of this piece! Look closely and you'll notice the face of a Teutonic warrior on the front of the hammer. Simpler, though just as nice looking is the pattern on the back, which is more than I can say for most other Mjölnir necklaces out there. The pendant's size is just enough to catch the eye, while not being so large as to overdo it. Whether you hail the Allfather or just love the stories, tho whole thing makes a striking statement! The hammer is made of pewter, with a black coating on the recesses to make the details pop. Because of the material, you'll have to polish it about once a week, unless you hit it with a clear coat. There is a weird discrepancy regarding the mythology of Thor on the paper that came with the hammer. In it, Thor is said not to be renowned for his strength, but his toughness. I guess if you're buying the necklace, you know a bit about Norse mythology. If not, look it up! It's well worth the read, and it won't be any fun if I just jot the details of the mighty Thor down in this review! Now, on to the main con of this piece. The cord the necklace comes with is unclasped, and of fairly poor material, but it should serve for awhile. I put the hammer on a leather strip, and it gives the whole thing more durability and a fuller look.

its a great size i think
its got a classic-looking beauty to it--i really didnt want the celtic designs i see on most of these. its a great size i think; not too small nor too large, a good weight & that both sides are designed is all the better.the only fly in the ointment is the skinney cord that it comes with, 'course i was planning on replacing it anyway with a leather cord, but in my thinking, the skinney cord it came with was almost cartoonish-looking

Beautiful! Just what I wanted
I wanted a Thor's hammer pendant for some time now and when I saw this, and in pewter (my favorite material for jewelry) I jumped on the opportunity to buy this! For the price, you truly can't get any better. It is beautiful, designed on both sides, a nice weight, lovely detail and the seller is really one of the nicest ones I have ever been in contact with. It was late for arrival (but it had not exceeded the estimated delivery date), and having lost things in delivery before from other online sellers in the past, I sent an e-mail of my concern to him and he sent me all the information I needed and never failed to keep in contact with me. They really do appreciate their customers and that is the only reason I am writing this review (which I never do) to explain just how pleased I am with not only this beautiful product but this very helpful seller who indulged my paranoid thoughts and made sure I was satisfied with the sale.Thank you!

Very good fit and finish
This appears to be a superior quality pewter casting with very good fit and finish. The maker took more than the usual amount of time and effort to cast it, remove casting marks, inspect it, add the patina correctly and polish it.Anyone who is familiar with pewter jewelry knows that some products are well finished and but others are porous, have poor molding technique, have rough edges or are otherwise inferior. Not this one.

LOVE IT!!!! GREAT QUALITY AND GREAT PRICE
I love this. It is decorated on both sides and great quality for the price. I just found out I am part Scandinavian, so of course, I had to research the history and came upon The Hammer of Thor and LOVE the design. This one fit the bill and the cord it comes with his pretty high quality too. I wear my Thor's Hammer quite a bit....though I have not started building long ships or wearing metal helmets LOL....I do enjoy the necklace.

this is a nice
This Mjolnir is smallish and lightweight. Also, even though it appears from photo that you can put a larger chain on it, the inner diameter is actually somewhat small. As long as you aren't looking for a heavy, large Mjolnir, this is a nice one

Pretty cool for 'cheap' jewelry
Great looking pendant.Came on a crappy cord. I had to make adjustments, add rings and a lobster clasp, as well as four metal beads (two of them silver) to weigh down the hammer, which wasn't all that heavy.Wearing Thor's Hammer to me is a warrior thing and a symbol of strength and perseverance. I've also seen Thor referred to as "The Sky God", which also has a unique meaning for me.
