Great poles but as the title says you can’t bring these in your carry on. You will have to check your bag if you have these. Wish I would’ve known that before I spent $200 for a checked bag and 4 of these

The foot of the pole is constantly turning because the bottom two sections of the pole turn when you walk. So, it is always facing the wrong direction! How can I solve this?

They seem like nice poles for the money, but the carrying/storage bag arrived with damage. They were shipped in a paper bag.

I hike a lot and recently had to put my trekking poles in checked luggage. I ordered these because it is the same price as checked luggage so I could simply walk away from them if TSA insisted I check them. For that purpose they were great. However in hiking in the Smoky Mountains one bent when I slipped and broke when I tried to bend it back. Also, I did not realize that the blue ones are 115 cm and higher. If you want lightweight, inexpensive poles for light-duty use these are good choice. If you are tall go with the blue poles. I ordered a pair of the blues because I can still get use out of them but they aren't sturdy enough for rough and rocky trail.
