Sound good
Purchased for my wife’s 1999 Silverado, they sound good, crisp, and clear. Pack a good punch. Overall very high quality.

Do yourself a favor, get these bad boys
Not alot of bass, but that is not what I was looking for. Great clarity and powerful. I bought these for my Jeep so I can have good tunes on the trail. I thought I was replacing factory set up, but it turns out the person before me put some kicker speakers in, while I don't know how old they were, these Rockford fosgate blow them out of the water. Once again they deliver, and at the price this is a great deal. If you are wanting some bass I suggest you get a sub, as I am doing.

6.75" is a decent fit for an NA Miata
NA Miata door speakers are notoriously difficult to affordably replace as they're a strange size with an odd 3-screw pattern and very little clearance behind the stock door panel, but I decided to try these after failing with a set of 6.5" Sony's because the tweeter on these looked flush. It is indeed flush and I can report they are a pretty easy install when combined with the Metra 72-9300 wiring harnesses. They are slightly too large but by only using two screws (I recommend the top and the one closer to the door handle) and a cheap roll of stick-on gasket, they'll fit and you'll be able to reinstall your door panel without any modification and (so far) no rattles. The sound is much better than stock but probably not great if you're looking for some kind of booming system. That's not me, I just wanted to replace the 28 year old tinny speakers.

Punches well above their weight!
I've been doing car audio for over 16 years now and these are probably the best bang for your buck I've seen so far. These are a very interesting design with a dust cap Ridge around the pole. The silk tweeter is actually placed on the pole so there is no edge of the tweeter projected in front of the midranges cone. They have rubber surrounds, a nice looking red spider and a very standard looking motor structure. Whoever designed these did their homework! These speakers have a very rich sound and shocked me with how articulate they are. I have spent over 12 hours on a trip listening to various music and audio books and it's not a fluke, I'm floored with how these perform for the price! I did nothing special for the install. They are in the doors of a 1995 Grand Cherokee with the infinity speakers. I placed some butyl deadened around the mounting hole and ran 4 screws. The people saying these don't have good bass response, that's complete nonsense. They don't distort easily so maybe that's what the equate to bass.

Good fit for Prius 2005
2005 Prius with only 90k miles had dry-rotted front-door speakers, so I bought these speakers, hoping for a quick repair. I saved the foam ring and mounts and rubber gasket from the original speakers that removed with just four screw removal after getting door off. Original speaker wires attached via a clip-on attachment, but with pliers and knife to remove the plastic clip-housing I found spade attachments that fit the Rockford male connectors without further modification. The original door mount for each speaker had two small tabs that interfered with flush attachment of new speakers, but a rotary cutting tool made short work of the tabs. The four equidistant screw holes in the original door mount fit new speakers just fine. I used the original screws since the Rockford kit had screws that were crazy long for a door mount. Great sound/clarity (especially when having just listened to the buzzy dry rot speaker). I'd definitely recommend for a Prius speaker replacement. Great bang or the buck!

Great sound still
They are great for the price but I have a pt cruiser and my radio has a limit on it to 37 and the passenger side one blew but it still works just not all songs and customer service was great and willing to exchange or even give my money back but I said it’s ok I seen that it might just be fine with a little rubber cement cause it still sounds 98 percent great

2011 Fiesta Replacement
Installed these in my 2011 Ford Fiesta to replace the blown out stock speakers. They are definitely crisper in the mid-high range than the OEM, and sound clearer overall at higher volumes. I was a little disappointed with the lack of bass, but using the stock deck in the car I don't know if that's what is limiting the range of sound. They seem to have a pretty beefy magnet on them and solid construction. There isn't much in the way of adapter plates that come with, I had to use the speed clips (see picture) to effectively make the speaker large enough to fit the hole the OEM had. I liked that it came with polarized wire leads, made installing very easy (just cut to length, solder together, and install). For the price, I'm very happy with these. Took me an hour on the first door, and 15 minutes on the other door once I knew where all the clips were in the door panel.
