It works as expected but warning - make sure of bore of hose pipe. This pump attachment area was too wide for my hose and I had to purchase new hose!!I used it to pump out my pond. I had previously owned a pump, worked by attaching to my Black & Decker, which I used for many years very satisfactorily.

This pump works well enough and the flow rate seems pretty good but it leaks a bit from where the drive fits into the body of the pump.

I have used this drill powered pump for many things. As an example, its a good way to siphon the outflow when one's washing machine breaks and you need to open the underside outlet to de-clog your impeller. It will save you having to mop up gallons of water from your floor.I used it to evacuate a loft tank that needed cleaning on a broken old heating system.But then it starts to leak after rather minimal usage. But for the price it was good even it had only worked 1 time as it solved problems which would have been expensive or time/energy consuming to resolve, otherwise.The 'self-priming' doesn't always seem to take, at first. This may be due to some defect in the seal ruining the pressure and probably the reason why it leaks.I recommend it, if you really need it. But dont hold out too much hope of it lasting for a long time. For the price and for what it did for me, it was great but I can't rate it higher as it definitely has a very limited life.As a warning, standard Green hard-mesh hosepipe is actually wider than the spigots so you will need PTFE or something similar to wrap around the spigots to hold the hoses tightly and prevent spigot leakage, in order to achieve a good flow.

When it came looks really good but started using it on my daughters pool only small paddle pool and with in 5 minutes of using it the pump broke so o had to go out and buy another pump

Emptied a 50 gallons hole filled with rain water successfully.

I found it very useful to drain a petrol tank of old petrol

Während der Inbetriebnahme haben sich innerhalb weniger Minuten die Schrauben am Gehäuse gelöst.Also vor Nutzung bitte den festen Sitz kontrollieren.
