I have been using these boxes for making 6 sets of photos for family members

One of the hinges broke after unboxing. I opened one of the boxes and it broke right off. The hinge area could use a little beefing up.

This purchase reminded me why reading through the reviews is so important! I was so disappointed when I received these and now I see that several people had already reported that the latches don't actually latch the box shut! I bought these to help my kids organize their Legos but since they don't stay closed, I will need to return them! I suppose some people could live with that, but this is a serious design flaw that makes me lose trust in this company.

I have enjoyed folding origami for over twenty years. I have stacks and stacks of origami paper in the house. I have a wood sorting rack in a back closet, but there are many times that I need to have my origami paper out with me. Maybe I'm working on folding earrings on the futon, or maybe I'm traveling to a craft show, or maybe I'm doing a demonstration at a library. There are all sorts of reasons I need to carry and move the origami paper safely.These 6"x6" (interior) plastic cases by Iris are PERFECT. The outside is larger than 6"x6". They are measuring the space inside, for holding the paper secure.Origami paper traditionally comes in a 150mm x 150mm size. That equates to about 5 7/8" square. The paper fits absolutely wonderfully into this space. I want to note that the bends in the box do NOT squash or bother the corners of the paper at all. The interior of the box is constructed so that paper 6" x 6" fits quite nicely in the open space. The rest of the "curved corners" simply add to the solidity of the structure so it holds up under weight.The lids seal quite nicely and do not come loose. The pieces also stack very well into each other. In reading some other reviews, I was worried that the units would slide and fall off of each other, but I find they are very secure in remaining stacked. I don't have any issues at all with them.I haven't had any problems with cracking, bending, or anything else. All units came to me in perfect condition and all have held up well to regular use.Perfect for my use. Highly recommended both for a shelf-stacking situation and also for using as travel units.Ask with any questions!

I read the reviews about issues with this product. I love Iris products. But this one is a little disappointing. The plastic is a bit thinner than expected. Plus the latch…! The latch needs to be bent forward so that it aligns with the catch. I couldn’t do it. It needs strong hands to bend it. My husband was able to bend all of them. So the product doesn’t get 5 stars but I suits my need.

Great quality! They are stackable and I'm having the greatest time using them to organize my collage cut-outs and materials!

These are terrific. I use them to store my children's craft supplies...markers, crayons, stickers, notecards, pencils, erasers. My children (2.5 and 4.5) can easily get out one container and use it without creating a huge mess. They are also able to pick up their mess and put it away easily with these. I had first bought some similar containers at the local craft store, but they had a different plastic latch (one latch in the center) that was very hard for me to open and impossible for my children to open. These have two latches on the outsides of the front, and they are much simpler to open and close. I LOVE that you can see what is in them. These are also handy for road trips or just outings. If I know I am going to need something to keep the kids occupied while running errands or going to a doctor's appointment, I can (for example) grab two crayon containers and two coloring books. Keeps the kids busy and contains the mess. Win, win.I also use these for storing my fine point markers, sharpies, small greeting cards, etc.

I want to give this more stars cause I really love the convenience of the size and it was exactly what I was looking for to store about 8 billion hot wheel cars (it doesn’t fit monster trucks but I expected that… so no problem). The only “issue” came when it was trying to close. Some would click shut nicely, others just wouldn’t click closed, whether the box was empty or full of cars (so no… I didn’t have too many cars in it). I still used it while moving to a new state while keeping cars organized, but I had to duct tape each box shut. For moving purposes, that’s fine. If I were using these for my son’s collection though, it’d be useless because he can’t be careful enough to not tilt the box and make the whole thing open and spill. For my purposes of keeping cars that I sell organized, it’s fine cause I’m not taking it out and moving it around regularly. When I need more, I will most likely not buy this same one again, though I will be looking for a similar size and everything.

There’s are perfect to sort and safely store scrapbook paper preventing them from damage and fading. Stack beautifully. Very affordable option to shelving.
