What with lock downs, no place to go and nothing to do, and now "distance learning," my 16 year old has spent an inordinate amount of time in his room the last 7 months. I was really worried that the usual funk that seems to live in every teen boy's room would become overwhelming and seep into every crack and soft surface, never to be eliminated. Sprays and candles only added layers to the level of smelliness.Enter Nature Fresh Air Purifier Bags! After activating in the sun for a few hours, I placed one of the big bags in my son's room. Within 2 days most of the funk was gone! It isn't gone completely, but I can definitely tell the difference and I don't have to hold my breath when I enter.I put a smaller bag near our cats' litter box, and 1 each in the upper and lower parts of my linen cupboard. The one by the cat box certainly helps, but I haven't seen a huge difference in the linens. Maybe one of the bigger bags would help more.By the way, these are not "potpourri" bags. They are not supposed to have any fragrance, so don't be disappointed when you open the package. They only absorb smells, they don't emit them.

This product was used in my shoes because I did not like the aerosol or powder products.I never had a problem before with stinky shoe odor,I mean it was bad.I saw this on Amazon and had to buy it,This is a fabulous product with a real reasonable price.I no longer have a stinky shoe problem.They have small ones perfect to fit in my shoes and twine they provide to tie on them so I can shove it into them and retreive easier,and bigger ones I put in bathroom and kitchen whereever you have a odor problem,Just an hour in the sun once a month is a small price to pay,plus they have a tag to record date and keep track when its time to put in sun again.This is really a great product and well thought out.Oh and at the end of its life you can recycle as fertilizer for your plant or tree,awesome product!20 stars

Cannot really rate product as my wife started coughing terribly nearly as soon as we opened - either the fabric of the bags or the charcoal within. Removed from home, placed back in sealed baggy and her coughing stopped within hours. If you have someone with history of asthma suggest caution. My guess, and only a guess, is the charcoal created a fine dust that triggered the reaction. Product itself was as advertised and received in good condition.

I have been experimenting with various odor neutralizers and I seem to have settled on this brand. In my case I live in a small condominium and besides the various odors that I create myself, as the walls in my unit are thin and other odors do enter my unit from the heating vents that in the past I have found offensive, however by implementing these charcoal filter bags, I sincerely believe that it has made a huge difference in alleviating some of the odors that do enter my unit. It does a good job and it does not cost much on Amazon.

First of all I was disappointed that I had to wait for a sunny day to bring the package outside to be activated!Though that seems rather silly, I did it. I wish they had mentioned that in the product description. And lastly, this thing doesn't work at all! I put it in my utility room where it smelled musty. No difference I put in my daughter's room where she has a hamster. And it made no difference. I even put it right on top of the hamster cage! Not one bit of difference! I put it in the bathroom. And this is a small bathroom. It smells musty in the summer. No difference. Waste of money considering a refund!

I really wasn't sure what to expect as I learned of these reading an article, surprisingly. I have a dust problem in my apartment and also mildew smells caused by my apartment not being well insulated and moisture not having an actual place to go, freely. Once I placed the bags in the main spaces I needed to attack I was very shocked to notice the smell was gone within a day and I haven't been waking up sneezing, itchy skin, or seeing as much dust appear as fast. It's only been about a week or so, but I am liking the results thus far. I'll wait until the 30-day mark to consider purchasing another set to have on standby or at least in rotation.

I bought these to eliminate odors in my closet and help my clothes smell good for longer but it didn’t do anything. I’ve put activated charcoal pills in my closet before and they were much more effective. I didn’t rate this a 1 because I also put one in my car and it seems like my car doesn’t smell as damp after it’s been sitting for a while.

I bought this to prevent dust . It doesn’t.
