I like this one. I found the chainsaw teeth style to be an improvement over cheaper triangular tooth types plus you can easily sharpen them. The 36" inch length I found to be better than shorter versions. The handles are good and large enough to use with gloves on (which you will want to wear). Being flexible it is far easier to bind up in the cut than rigid saws, i.e. chainsaws and bowsaws, but this is for taking along in a pocket, daypack or ditch bag. I used it in trimming trees for the tight places and for limbs up to around 4" diameter. It worked fine for me.The magnesium fire starter is fine but I took it off the case. I prefer better performing fire starters like the blastmatch but hey, why not have a couple of options in your ditch bag.

Have not had a chance to use this saw yet due to the snow. Bought this since I have a jeep, and hauling gas and a chainsaw in it was not practical and took up valuable space. I was surprised by how light and small this saw is. Can also bring it when we go motorcycle camping. The chain looks identical to the one on my gas saw, and can be sharpened the same way. Four stars since I have not been able to use it yet. Looking forward to warmer weather to try this out.

Awesome! I use it with the tool roll on a BMW GSA. It would also be great on any dual sport bike. Being able to breakdown deadfall and get around obstacles without carrying a chainsaw, etc is awesome. In the past I've used wire saws, but they are only decent for smaller stuff. On a moto that small stuff can typically be ridden across/thru. I bought this saw as a tool roll add on for being able to manipulate decent sized deadfall when/if needed. Makes for a great Kifaru tipi/ADV bike camping/touring end piece component.

This pocket saw is great and works much easier than I was anticipating! I ride my horse on long distances throughout the wilderness and we come across downed trees all the time. Now, instead of bush wacking through vines and poison everything in sight, I can just saw my way through the downed trees and ride on down the trail. It's so compact, it practically takes up no space in my saddle bag.

This is exactly how a portable saw should work. All " hand chain saws " are about the same (twisting chain, non cutting surface down... etc). This one has gone through 3-6 inch branches with moderate effort. It allows you to reach high branches when you cant use a ladder / chain saw to accomplish. I cut a 20-25 foot high branch (standing to the side with long enough ropes attached to this item) and I brought it down easily.

Took down a 8" diameter Ash branch that was logged into another tree out of pole saw range. Wow this was such a cheap way of safely removing large branches (with patience of course). Took about 10 mins on the larger 8" diameter Ash wood. I bought two in case I get one stuck in a tree. Haven't had that problem yet though... Would buy again!!

Used it to cut a 5" limb 25' up by tying ropes onto the handles. It was not as hard as I expected to get the cutting teeth lined up to cut. I did have some binding, but nothing that could not be overcome. Short pulls on each rope seemed to work best. I was able to bring the limb down in about 15 minutes. Worked well!

HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO GET OUT IN THE WOODS YET SO TRIED THIS OUT IN MY BACK YARD ON SOME FIREWOOD...USED THIS ON SEASONED SCRUB OAK & RUSSIAN OLIVE, BOTH HARDWOODS...I WAS ABLE TO CUT THROUGH A 4" LOG IN RIGHT AT 2 MINUTES...I AM GLAD I GOT THE 36" LENGTH INSTEAD OF THE 24" LENGTH AS IT IS EASIER TO USE...REAL SMOOTH CUTTING BUT IT GOES QUICKER IF YOU SWITCH POSITIONS ON THE WOOD INSTEAD OF JUST STANDING IN ONE PLACE...DEFINITELY GOING IN MY BACKPACK...

Robuste mais la chaîne ne semble pas super affûter. Jai testé le produit et il fonctionne bien. Le produit fait ce pourquoi il est conçu.

Manual chainsaw, yes please!! LOVE IT!! 'nuf said!
