Great walkthrough of the history
This book gave a good overview of the history of conservatories from the beginning to modern day. Highly recommended for any lover of glass house conservatories and plants.

Beautifully written hardcover book on conservatories around the world.
Good wintertime reading. Many photos to dream about. If you cruise, you may be visiting some of these cities mentioned in the book and want to visit there conservatories. Great coffee-table book.

Beautiful, inspiring book!
What a gorgeous book! My only quibble is that Charles Darwin's famous complex of four greenhouses was not mentioned. It was there at Down House that he engaged in many botanical experiments, in addition to simply enjoying his hundreds of tropical plants, many of which he acquired via Kew.

Excellent book
This book arrived today and I can say it’s easily one of the best books I’ve bought this year. Excellent, extremely numerous high quality photographs, readable, informative, and enjoyable text. This books puts similar university press books to shame.

Nice unique add to my coffee table books
Would have liked more picture of current conservatories we can drive to visit. For example, Franklin park conservatory in Columbus Ohio deserved more pictures, and even the three domes in Milwaukee Wisconsin, too.I did love the history on conservatories.
