ZWILLINGSteak Knife Set, 4 pc, Black

I previously purchased a different set that was way too cumbersome and heavy. After returning that set I purchased this one, and I'm in love. The size is perfect, it is easy to hold, and the blades are good and sharp with a nice serrated grip. It is durable enough to cut through steak, and grippy enough to cut through cherry tomatoes. 100% recommend!

Looking for good kitchen knives at an affordable price that weren't made in China and I was pleasantly surprised to find that Henckels' Zwilling line is made in either Germany or Spain and are top quality. These steak knives fit all my needs beautifully.

I recently bought this set of steak knives to match the cutting knives that we have of the same brand. Very happy with our purchase. They are not too heavy and have a nice handle, and most of all they are very sharp. Use it primarily for our steaks and meat. Have not been disappointed in Henkel.

I agree with the other reviewer who rated the knives highly, but not the wooden box. The knives are just what I wanted. Well-balanced and sharp, with the perfect amount of serrations. This, combined with tough, dishwasher-safe phenolic handles -- couldn't be better. However, the wooden box is of middling quality, not all that accurately made and not very space efficient. I wasn't going to use the box anyway so it makes no difference to me, and I do feel that the knives alone are worth the purchase price. But if you want a finely-crafted box either for yourself or for a gift, you might be disappointed.

These are made in Spain and not in China. Edge is very sharp and has a good grip.

Appears to be well made. This is to be a wedding gift and needed the wood storage box, which is nice although I removed the "Made in China" label from the box. It's my understanding that the box is made in China while the knives are made in Spain. That's ok since the label came right off. Yes, I would buy these again.

After I lost one of my steak knives, I decided to replace them. I used the old ones for about 40 years, washing them in the dishwasher. They still cut well, but had lost some of their original shine.The new ones I purchased are indentical, although made in Spain rather Holland. They are brilliant shine, sharper, but otherwise exactly same.

Steak dinners . Nice perfect sharpe cutting knife.

They could be better with a proper hilt, but otherwise these are finest steak knives I have ever used. The shape and sharpness make it easy to eat anything with elegance.
