An inexpensive alternative
I was looking for a replacement Matki Hair Trap Basket for Old Style FFW Waste and saw they were available online for £9.50 + £4 p&P. I searched on Amazon, but couldn't find one of these, but then I realised that my Google Search had also suggested the Wirquin filter as an alternative. That product is showing here on Amazon and looks identical but at half the price and no P&P if you have Prime.I can confirm this is a perfect alternative to the Matki version and fits the Matki waste, you just discard the top chrome piece of the Wirquin version. I love to find an alternative to overpriced branded items.

A perfect fit
This replaced an existing filter and works perfectly well.

The silvered part is plastic, not stainless steel as in the title.
After waiting 32 days for Amazon prime three day delivery to do it's thing (probably due to the part of the UK we live in, Amazon always change delivery dates immediately after ordering, despite having the address on my account while searching, buying etc) the package arrived, squished but it might become circular again, who knows.We chose the stainless steel one over the plastic type even though it was more expensive, but it's not true. If you look on a laptop you will see right at the bottom of the page, Colour; stainless steel.So they have stainless steel colour plastic and advertise it as Stainless Steel. HmmWe viewed it on a mobile device and fell for the scammy description, but I guess they work the same.It's ok, tight fit in the shower drain and catches stuff.

Flimsy but Adequate
purchased to replace the original. Just about Adequate to to do its job, they are a little flimsy as the plastic bits are thin, so be careful when retreiving them from the plughole.

Comprato per sostituire con il vecchio. Indispensabile per chi ha la doccia e la piletta, e soprattutto per chi è donna che facendo la doccia i capelli lunghi vanno a finire li. Consiglio assolutamente
