I ordered several different UPF shirts to try, and this one was the winner! The collar and long sleeves were important to me to keep me out of the sun on our 2-week Utah trip. We were outside almost constantly for the whole two weeks, hiking, backpacking, and camping. The shirts fit great, and held up to everything I threw at them. I wouldn't have minded if they fabric was just a little more stretchy. The thumb holes were not quite in the right position for my arm length, and putting my thumbs in them caused the shirt to dig into my hand a bit. Using the thumb holes would have helped give more coverage for my hands for sun protection. These shirts don't dry super fast, which turned out to be a bonus on this trip. We were hiking in the full sun on a 90 degree day, along a creek. We stopped multiple times to dip our shirts in the creek to stay cool. My husband's shirt was much thinner and dried much faster - this shirt dried slower and kept me cooler longer. But other than the one really hot day, I was pretty comfortable in these shirts the entire trip - they were light enough to not be hot.But do they protect against sunburn? Yes! I wore nothing but these 3 shirts the entire 2-week trip. I put 50 SPF sunscreen on my face and hands twice a day every day. I now have a rather awkward variation of a farmer's tan... the backs of my hands are tan, while the rest of my arms are not at all tan!

Ordered for hiking in the so cal high desert, but haven’t used yet. I used this walking my dog around the block during a hot So Cal heatwave, and really like it. I did feel cooler vs having bare skin against the sun. I like that it covers your hands and has the quarter zip to adjust for cooling. I am a big Sun protection advocate and practice sun safety daily with spf and limiting time in the peak of the day. I’m 5’4” size 2 and this is a size small. I’m wearing over a tank top and there was still room to feel loose.

I am a 77 year old woman who is 5'6" and 174 pounds and I ordered an XL because it stated it was true to size.. I do have a bit of a tummy and this shirt showed it and it was not flattering. Due to the spandex in the shirt it is very clingy and if you have a slight tummy or other problem it is going to show it. I then ordered an XXL and it was so big that it was not wearable either. I did not wear it so I do not know if it is moisture wicking or good for working out in.

I brought this hiking on a hot afternoon. When we got to the top at sunset and there was a strong breeze, it was the perfect layer to add. Hiking back down with this shirt and a backpack on, it was pretty comfortable overall. It wicks moisture away well. I washed it in cold water, put it in the dryer on low heat for about 10 minutes, then hung up. It dried pretty quickly.The sleeves are long on me, unless I use the thumb holes, but I'm a little short, so that's not unusual. It is lightweight, stretchy and fitted. You may want to go up a size if you don't want your curves on display.The short zipper works well and has a small flap of fabric that prevents the zipper from scratchinq your neck.

I love the color and style. I think it's sporty, but professional enough to wear in the office. I am 5'6", 138lbs and bought size Medium.I bought this shirt to wear in a conservative country where the temperatures are already getting into the 90s. So far it's kept me as cool as can be expected! Definitely wicks the sweat off my skin and dries quickly (I typically hang it to dry). I am also happy to see that it has stayed pretty much wrinkle-free.

I just received 2 of these shirts today and I really like how they feel, the colors are pretty, material seems nice. However they do run small! I went from other reviews and went with my normal small, however I really wish I would’ve ordered medium. They just fit but a medium would’ve been much nicer! They are a bit clingy but that is to be expected with this type of material. I haven’t worn it yet, to see how sun protection is.

Wore kayaking a couple of weeks ago. Kept me from getting sun on my arms/chest. Comfortable. Remarkably warm in the cooler morning low 60’s but cool when the temperatures rose to the high 80’s. I bought it larger than my usual size to make sure I had no constriction when paddling but could have gone one size down. The arms were 3” too long but I still managed to use the thumb hole to keep sun off my hands too. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this shirt to protect my arms and hands from sunlight while taking medicine that makes me photosensitive. The fabric is dense enough to do the job without being bulky. The thumb holes are perfect for protecting my hands. I love the sage color and the zipper makes it easy to put on and take off, while allowing me to have an open or closed collar any time I want. I would definitely order again!
