A co-worker knowing I love astrology and anything related let me take a look at a new book she bought. It just so happened to be The Private lives of the Sun Signs. It took me only a few minutes into reading the first chapter that I knew I was buying it. I went on Amazon that day and purchased this wonderful book. Not only does it fit the sun signs of the zodiac but also entices to read more with the authors humor and relating to her friends and family. I really love the little areas of relationships with other signs too. The paragraph on how an Aries parent handles a Pisces child was very touching and an eye opener. Can't control the little fishy got to let him be his emotional self!!

This fresh new look at sun signs by Katharine Merlin is an enjoyable journey through the zodiac. Her sensitivity, insight, and depth speak to and through every sign as if she were living in the shoes of all, one sign at a time. Her writing is light and graceful, often with a touch of humor. By no means do I deny the value of the detailed individual chart, and books that speak directly to those details, but to my mind, Merlin has managed to derive all the possible juice out of the good ol' sun signs.

Katharine Merlin's book is a "must read" for people interested in learning about their own and others' sun signs. It is clear, concise and full of invaluable insights. Katharine Merlin is a great teacher! From reading her book, I developed a greater understanding of the characteristics of each of the sun signs, increased self-awareness and gained new perspectives about the behavioral preferences and patterns of other people. I highly recommend The Private Lives of Sun Signs..it is enjoyable to read, beautiful to look at, and a wonderful gift for anyone interested in learning from an expert.

This is a well-written, comprehensive, easy to read book, that holds your attention. No matter how many times you read similar information, a passionate, confident delivery always ensures you will find something new. If it is ever offered on Kindle or paperback, get those only as a backup because you should treat yourself to the beauty of the outside and inside of this book.

The Private Lives of Sun Signs is a wonderful book on astrology. Beautifully written and so interesting that I found myself reading about signs that were not even connected to my life. Katharine Merlin has great insight and clearly is a gifted astrologer. I always enjoyed reading her horoscopes from Town and Country and when I found out that she had a book on astrology, I just had to get it. You won't be disappointed.
