Music from The Star Wars Trilogy: Special Edition (Alto Sax)

Our son has been playing saxophone for a little over a year. There are some songs he can attempt now and others that will have to wait until his skills and knowledge expand more. 5 stars because it contains a nice collection of music from the movies, print quality is solid and will be a book he can use for years as he continues to learn. Great book for “extra” music your student or child will be motivated to play on their own if they’re a Star Wars fan.

First: I ordered this expecting a piano score, recieved a trombone score.Second: The scores are just of the main melody, with no nuance whatsoever. For example, the Imperial Death march from the film does not start with the all too familiar "dun dun dun da da dunn dun da dunn" sound, it starts with those bad ass triplets that I can play just by transcribing from ear, which is not at all reflected in any score in this book. This would be fine for children or beginner-novice players, but over all the scores are just subpar.

Got this as a gift for my son and he loves it. Filled with amazing photo's and beautiful music for the entire family!

My son loved it. He's getting very motivated since now he can play his favorite songs. Easy to understand and well done.

I love star wars and I'm excited to learn the songs!
