The Everything Kids' Basketball Book: The All-time Greats, Legendary Teams, Today's Superstars--and Tips on Playing Like a Pro Paperback – September 11, 2015

This is a good basketball book. It's a little advanced for my 7 1/2 year old, since he doesn't know a lot about the players and teams they talk about in the book, but he will definitely love it as he learns more. He likes the sections on playing the game, and is not difficult to read.

Great book that explains the rules and technical side of the sport for a child who wants to understand basketball and improve his skills. This book has now become bedtime reading for my grandson.

I bought this for my 7year old grandson and he loved it. In fact after he went to bed he got back up and got the book to read and his mom found him later that night sound asleep with the book still in his hand. He told me that he learned some new moves from the book.

Good facts..wish there were pictures in it tho..to give my son better visuals of the players and plays

I purchased this book for my 12 yr. old son. After browsing through the pages, I have to say, this is a great book. It has sections that test your knowledge of what you read. My son has a vague knowledge of basketball, but I'm sure this will enlighten his interest.

This is a great informational text for kids to learn about BB. I gifted this to a 10 year old and she loved it. She started posing... "did you know" questions to me to test my knowledge of the sport!! (yikes)... The text is well written, engaging and a great way for kids to learn using a reference/ informational text.

Great book for kids who are just starting out with the sport of basket ball. Lots of interesting reading. Fantastic.
