Edwards, has done a remarkable job in collecting letters and remembrances of the actual participants in their own words to tell their own amazing story. Mr. Edwards' unique presentation is a wonderful insight into the day to day grind, miserable condition, and danger experienced form both the Union and Confederate point of view. I highly recommend this fascinating book.
