Base came loose within a month of light use. I could probably add some strong glue…but that’s not what I want really for a new product

This tamper measures 58.5mm precisely with a digital caliper. The base has a nice height, or depth, to the tamper, equivalent (identical, really) to that of the Reg Barber tamper I've been using for many years. This one fits my IMS Competition basket quite snugly and delivers a great tamp, compressing the coffee grounds right out to the edge of the basket. Also fits the EPNW HQ 14g Ridgeless basket quite nicely. The walnut handle is tall and slender and fits a medium size hand well. The handle is on the lighter side but that doesn't bother me. A good quality traditional tamper with nothing to complain about.
