I am giving this four stars only because I believe to be truly elegant and the best quality possible, the top of the wind chime should have been made of glass like the beautiful leaves; so that part is a little less than to be desired and if I had read all of the other reviewers comments I would have been prepared for the plastic top better than I was. So I am writing this at the start of my review to give all of you a heads up on the plastic top. Not that it looks cheap, it doesn't, but plastic is still plastic. However, please know, it is well worth the price as the leaves are beautifully shaped, made of good quality glass and the color is amazing. I was originally going to hang it outside but have decided to hang it on our screened sun porch out of concern it will get tangled being exposed to the wind and weather as the strings holding it together resemble fishing line which brings me to another slight issue to prepare you for, unlike the other reviewer's, the leaves in ours were not individually wrapped but instead wrapped in sections (3) so when we took it out of the manufacturers box (which was torn and damaged I might add) it was a real pain to get untangled. It literally took us 7-8 minutes to get it untangled (that may not sound like much time but trust me, 7-8 minutes untangling fishing line, IS a long time) but once we got it untangled and hung up, it looked very pretty and we are happy to have bought it. Again, it is well worth the price, just be prepared for a few possible issues (difficulty getting it ready to hang and a plastic top). I hope this helps you in your decision.

Intense blue. The leaves are nicely shaped of a relatively heavy glass and I DO HOPE the tensil strength of the nylon "strings" hold up to the weight of the leaves. The chord/strings seem rather thin and have already tangled a few times. The "flower-shaped" top from which the chords & leaves are secured is made of a blue plastic.Overall it is very pretty. I LOVE cobalt blue glass and wind chimes, so the 2 loves combined earns my favor. If the glass were thinner the "tinkling" sound might be more reminiscent of the Asian (I think Japanese) little wind chimes from which thin, clear glass, often painted with flowers and symbols, had such a delicate tinkling sound. This has a weighted, glass sound when the leaves are moved by a breeze.They were packed in a rather flimsy box but each leaf was wrapped in plastic. SO I gingerly unfurled each leaf being careful of what appears to be fragile nylon thread (like a thin fishing tackle line). A lovely purchase in design and color considering the model price.

The wind chimes made a wonderful Christmas gift, loved the blue to pink ombré it had when purchased. Not a 5 star because it started fading by February and now it is entirely light blue, no ombré left. Would recommend purchasing for indoors or an area of your yard that is shady at all times if you don’t want it to lose its color.

Its very pretty, I love wind chimes and keep several on my porch when one broke I found this. Hung it on the front porch and in the next few days we had a rain storm, no more pretty wind chime it's painted glass not colored glass so now nearly all of the "paint" has been washed away.

Beautiful well-made very tropical

This supplier needs to find a way to package the wind chime so it is not completely tangled - very frustrating and disappointing - might look nice if we can ever unravel this mess

All the pieces are really pretty and well made. They are strung together with fishing wire. They look really pretty in the sun

I love the way it is made. And I love the colors.
