Can cut through apples ok but harder fruits and veggies the metal handle is weak and bent a couple of times. Would be better more sturdy

Never felt the need to leave a review before but this is the exception.DO NOT BUY THIS PEELER. It is the worst quality peeler you could imagine. The title is also misleading as there is absolutely no peeling action - its all scraping tiny bits. Tried on potatoes and carrots - both totally infuriating.Amazon should remove this from the listings. A total waste of time and money.
