Really superb value for the money
I cook almost every day, so my kitchen equipment gets a lot of use. Of course, the most used items in my kitchen is the knives. In the 3 weeks since I got this knife, I've used that knife for 32 meals and it has handily replaced my Wüsthof Ikon as my favorite knife in the kitchen. When I first took it out of the box, I was amazed at how sharp it was. I've had knives professionally sharpened that didn't have an edge this sharp! It was sharp enough to slice garlic thin enough to read through (yes, I did that). The fit and finish is far better than I expected out of a $70 knife. It's well balanced for my hand position and the handle is solid and comfortable. I felt almost no fatigue even after a couple of hours of chopping for a huge batch of Burgoo Stew.Did I mention how friggin sharp this thing is? I barely bumped the back of my hand against the edge while it was sitting on the counter and it gave me a 2" slice on my hand that took more than an hour to stop bleeding enough to superglue for my lapse of judgement.A couple of caveats:First, before I used it for the first time, I stropped it on a leather belt. I do this with all new and/or newly sharpened knives so I know I'm starting with the best edge that blade can offer.Second, I use a honing steel literally EVERY time I use the knife. I do this with all my straight edge knives (you'd be surprised how much longer an edge lasts doing this).Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with this blade and I honestly can't find fault in it. If you're someone who cooks a lot and takes good care of your knives, I can't see how you wouldn't love this knife.

Sharp and nice comfortable handle
Speeds up the cooking process. Very sharp. Glides through vegetables with barley any pressure. Cuts lemons like butter. Comfortable ergonomic handle. Beautiful design but the Damascus is a lot more subtle than in the product photo. Would be hard to switch back to Walmart knives.

Good grip and cuts smoothly
I never knew what a difference it would make in cooking when having a properly sharp knife. Seriously GAME CHANGER! even cutting sweet potatoes which is always a pain, it's not as difficult with this knife. I think for the price, it is a great value. I make sure to clean it and immediately dry it after every use to have a longer storage life. The size of the knife is also not overbearing or too small.

Amazing! Highly recommended
This knife is fantastic! After all these weeks I finally found a perfect one. It is very well balanced, easy to cut, good for sushi, easy to hold, and highly recommend. I am pretty sure it is worth a lot. It is one of the best knife yet. When I bought it I knew right away that this is the perfect one by looking at it.

Great knife
This is a great knife for slicing up a steak to serve over salad or a tenderloin. Maybe even a skirt steak, if you’re feeling frisky. I almost cut off the top of my finger, so it’s definitely sharp. Use with caution, because it’s a knife.

Looks gorgeous, cuts better!
I am obsessed with this (very sharp!!) knife. I bought it to gift, but I ended up sneakily keeping it because I loved the look of it so much too. Ergonomic handle makes it easy to hold, slices through meat so easily without a “sawing” motion.Great chef knife purchase, or gift for the cooking enthusiast in your life!
