50 PCS Red Disposable Face Masks 3-Ply Filter Earloop Mouth Cover, Face Mask (Red)

I'm an OR nurse so I'v been on the search for at least an ASTM Grade 2 mask (a US qualification which you won't find on Asian made masks)....which you can't easily find offered to the masses. Sadly, so many cheaper masks are super thin which in turn, makes me question their effectiveness! I purchased this mask hoping it would be a better quality and I have been very happy and satisfied with it. I would absolutely order again!

I work in an office support role on a nurses' s station at a major US hospital and really liked the disposable, purple single use mask I received from my employer by the brand, Defend. I wore mine for about a week until it started to get a little fuzzy. Once the purple masks ran out, our only option was the cheap yellow ones that didn't fit as well. The Defend brand masks are impossible to find unless you run the supply chain at a hospital or dentist office, so I searched around for a comparable purple mask and hesitantly purchased these. I'm really glad I did! They are slightly lighter purple than the Defend brand but the only other noticeable difference was that the Defend brand mask has a nose/chin wire on both the top and bottom. These masks from this Amazon seller only have the nose wire on the top, which is fine. Otherwise they are the same size, shape, number and position of pleats, soft stretchy ear ties, white on the inside, very comfortable and no lingering smell, etc. They seem to be the same 3-ply thickness as Defend masks and no you can't blow a candle out with this mask on. Some complaints other people have is that these aren't N95's but they never claimed to be. They are meant for single use, go out and get your groceries, go to work type of masks. And I think they're perfect for what they're intended for.

These are very good masks even though made in china. I have only tried a couple, but have not had any problems. I usually just do a cursory exam when I get a box of masks. I have only opened one box out of the three I ordered in a 2 week period. I pulled on the loops on the one side and stretched them out without breaking any. I wore 2 of them for a few hours each for two days. Comfort and fit seemed ok. I ordered the white and the yellow the second time. They look and feel almost identical but the yellow come with an expanded certificate. They also cost more but the certificate has combat on it. It also does not say "Not for medical use" on the box. The white basically just say disposable masks for health, etc. For the difference in price the yellow ones or the colored ones might be a better choice for maximum protection. You can not blow through either one. I would have given them 5 star except I was upset that the both said the same thing when ordered them. Over all I am very satisfied with them though. The price is excellent and the revues are high

I was pretty satisfied with a similar mask I purchased from another vendor but these are better quality and I like the color. I wear each mask multiple days and have not had a strap break yet. I started by wearing cotton reusable masks but fit wasn't great. These fit nicely around my face and the nose wire greatly reduces my glasses from steaming up. These just work much better any cotton reusable I tried. I now feel like the cotton masks are more for show.I worked through brush fire air for multiple days and although these mask are not designed to eliminate the smoke smell they do reduce it. I was breathing better when wearing the mask.Update 1/13 - Finally getting ready to order more. These have great. Not even one broken strap.

The red masks have had multiple masks where the straps have broken from regular use. (Not from when you first get masks and you pull first ones out from box and straps get stuck and then they break.) I have been using the orange masks from this company and none of them have broken, but for some reason the straps from the red ones keep breaking off.

I love the lavender color! These masks are of better quality than the ones supplied at my hospital. I am a nurse and the cheap hospital-provided masks drove us crazy for over a year and a half causing itching and irritation of our noses. These lavender masks don't cause any itching or irritation while wearing.

Most comfortable masks ever. Large enough to cover from the bridge of the nose to secure safely under the chin. The adjustment bar is flexible and easy to clip on one's nose but strong enough to stay where you put it. A wonderful product at a reasonable price. Fifty pieces; recommended changing every four hours.

Made in China and had a “toxic chemical” smell so there was no way to contact them to inquire on oder.
