MagpulM-LOK Paraclip Sling Mount

First off, when I received mine I was very happy to see the intact Magpul packaging...and there was no doubt it was the real thing. About the product, I really like the low-profile fit, upward cant at the loop, and the solid feel of this steel MLok Paraclip Sling Mount. It attaches firmly, is quite secure and, considering the construction, I expect many many years of use.So now about installing it. This was the first time I've installed a Magpul product on MLok, and it took a little time. if it's your first time like me, it's not a just-slap-it-on installation. It's not hard. It just requires a little prep, patience to get the bolts past the Magpul factory-applied thread-seal, and then into the right pre-tightening depth. Before doing that I first pre-screwed both bolts in and out (once)...to make it easier when I was ready for installation. Once I got the two where I needed them, it was just a matter of slowly turning the allen-head bolts. And I didn't apply new thread seal because the existing was still plenty sufficient to secure the bolts into the retention nuts. And that was that...and it's just what I wanted.Recommend it? Absolutely. Sure, Magpul is slightly more than other products. But when you consider the fit, finish, durability and average out your cost-per-year of trouble-free use...it's worth it.

I bought two of the Magpul MAG607 M-LOK Paraclip Sling Mounts, one for each of two rifles with free-float hand guards and single/double-point Magpul slings. Their purpose is to provide a solid attachment point for a sling clip. In my case they are only used when the rifle sling is in two-point configuration for slinging across my back or shoulder. They are typical Magpul and M-Lok kit: they work, they're robust and they're over-priced. I can tolerate the price for the quality though, especially since no alternative I've seen seems as robust and experience has taught me to trust the Magpul name. If you're not familiar with M-Lok you're missing one of seven wonders of the modern tactical world. M-Lok is secure, fast to attach and remove (no need to remove the hand guard) and lets you get rid of the bulky, heavy, painful quad rail hand guards popular several years ago. All of my M-Lok gear fits perfectly on any of my three hand guards designed to accept M-Lok accessories. I prefer M-Lok to KeyMod because it's stronger and quicker, in my opinion.

Tried the single QD hole mounted attachment but found with heavy slinging and tactical training, the hole mounted QD attachment had a tendency to move around. Got this one to mount onto a section of MLOK and could not be happier.This mounting option works great but you will lose a little piece of MLOK real estate if that concerns you. I was concerned this mount would stick out and get caught up in the sling or on outer wear but so far, it is hardly noticeable. The mount has enough room to use a Magpul paraclip or another brand of sling with cable style connectors. Magpul quality and Magpul price but you will love it.

Really, I'd probably give it 4.5 stars. That's because I haven't used it with m-lok so can't evaluate that, and the loop is a bit on the small side for mash hooks. Just fine for HK clips.I took it and ground off the tabs on the back with a file Then I mounted it to my semi auto shotgun forearm like you would a match saver by drilling two holes in the forearm and using chicago screws. On the left side of the gun though. It's very solid, and works reasonably well although as mentioned, a slightly bigger loop would be better. It's not perfect, but for my stoeger m3k, it beats the other options out there.

Easy install and excellent quality. Allowed me to have additional sling options for my AR platform.

It's classic MagPul parts; they just work. Sturdy, good fit-n-finish, inexpensive, and made in the USA.

Maybe my M-LOK slot is too close to butt, but I can't make it fit with both bolts. Only one to connect there. Need to modify the mount or the slot.

Qualität ist Magpul typisch, der Preis leider auch.Bin mit dem Produkt zufrieden aber ich würde es nicht nochmal kaufen.Benutzung findet es an einer MKET41 in 308 Win.hält verlässlich das Gewicht.Aber!!!... Das können auch andere Hersteller zu geringeren Preisen schaffen. Habe selbst zwei NoName Halter und die sind genauso gut, zugegeben das Oberflächen finish ist bei Magpul besser.Fazit:Für Markenjunkies ein Muß, für alle anderen gibt es günstigere Alternativen bei fast gleicher Leistung.
