LOUISIANA Cajun Etoufee 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 2)

This etouffee mix is one of my favorite meals. It is very simple to make and so flavorful when served with shrimp over a bed of rice. It is great to keep in the cabinets so you can have an easy meal when craving some cajun , ethic, creole, and/or just down home cooking, being comfort food without needing too many other ingredients. The flavor is authentic and fresh tasting, as if you were walking down bourbon street in New Orleans, awaiting the mard gras festivities to begin. This product comes from a reputable brand, but i have a hard time finding it in my local grocery stores, but if lucky it will be on their ethnic isle with only 1-2 pouches of the mix ever in stock. It is great that it can be bought here and appears to be similar to the in=store pricing.BUY THIS! You will not be disappointed if you like cajun food. I like too make this with one other similar foods for a fun meal to serve when hosting guests during mardi gras or celebrating fat Tuesday with friends and family. I will make this etouffee with cajun gumbo, cheesy jambalaya, po-boy sliders, roux based soups, followed by a rich desert just as served in NOLA.Please do continue to carry this cajun staple along with many more unique finds, full of flavorful surprises, creating affordable, easy meals better than eating out in restaurants. I have yet to be disappointed by any of the products purchases from the line of versatile brand, Louisiana Fish Fry, and I will be exploring more of their products in the near future, staying loyal to the brand for cajun cooking needs.

The first batch I received of this tasted amazing very close to a recipe I had when I was in New Orleans. I was excited to make this for my daughter but the second time I ordered it it didn’t have near as much flavor so that was disappointing

Etofee is great. This is very easy to enjoy it at home by just adding the protein.

Despite the fact she used to put ketchup on EVERYTHING, I liked what I saw about the product and ordered it.This is simple, and fast,to prepare, and tastes authentic (probably because of all the butter you add!)As a former restaurateur/chef, I give this an enthusiastic thumbs up.
