Looks like the real skull
Was fairly easy to install but to make it look real it took a little time. I applied a few coats of everything. Came out looking good. A couple of legal blind folks thought it was a real skull. I was proud of my work and hung it high up on the vaulted ceilings of the camp so the imperfections could not be identified.

Misleading description, horrible company.
Couldn't rate them a zero. 2nd pic from this products listing clearly states that it's compatible with harvested or shed antlers. Guess what? they're not and I had to pay 55.00 shipping to return it directly to them. Not sure how they coaxed Amazon into that scam. So 130.00 to begin with, 55.00 shipping to return it. Bought the right one at Cabelas for 101.00 which is cracked btw and I still haven't got a refund from them on this purchase. So I'm into this nightmare for 286.00. I would avoid Mike's altogether.

To small, at least for mine.
Purchased the Mountain Mike's Record Keeper, cut the skull I harvested down to fit on the record Keeper Kit, but mine is still to wide to fit the skull kit. I did have to buy more filler to make more natural looking, most people probably wouldn't know the difference of actual skull size anyway. I didn't like the white plastic as it didn't real skull color like my real ones so I tried something different as last picture shows. After putting it up in the house. It was too large at least for my wife anyway, so now I got to find another spot I guess. My kit for some reason didn't come with the hanger as shown in picture. Couldn't return kit, made an alternative hanger.

Can’t return
Ordered the wrong kit but couldn’t return because of “dangerous chemicals” . I needed the other kit with the entire skull cap for sheds so I got stuck with these.

Good Alternative
These skulls work well if you want to create a euro mount but the directions are poorly displayed and cutting the skull cap is tricky!
