The Cleebourg Dog Leash is very good. It seems durable so far, which has been a problem with other leashes I have used with my very active and rambunctious Pug puppy, Ophelia. She has broken a couple of others already because she takes off running towards people any time she sees someone. She just wants to say hello. She ends up jerking the end of the line and it actually causes the spring mechanism or the shell to break inside the handle. With the Cleebourg it seems like it is sturdier and can handle it. I did have to adjust to the different style of locking mechanism and the balance of the handle feels off, pulling the handle down with the the grip more behind the reel. It is heavier than most I have used, but maybe the stronger construction that I needed is a trade-off. As of now I am ok with it, and will adjust, as long as it holds together. I will update at a later date after more use.

I recently bought this leash for my dogs that are Australian labradoodle and they have an average of 60 lbs. They are strong and tend to pull a lot. This collar worked very well. I recommend it!!!!

This is one of the best purchase. And for the price, it’s a win win. It gives lots of room for my dog to roam around at the same time giving me a good control. It’s easy to lock once you get used to it. Good grip, good amount of space to hold.Overall, I have been using this since the day I bought it, and haven’t regretted a single day.

I spent $25 on a retractable leash at the pet store that my puppies chewed through so I needed to replace it, because retractable leashes are amazing and so helpful! I decided to check Amazon to see if I could find a better deal and found this, and man am I glad I did! I actually like this on way better than the $25 one! The locking is very easy to use, it retracts very smoothly, and the handle is very comfortable to hold! Great product, great deal!

I've been using the retractable leash for just over 3 weeks now and I am happy with it so far. I've always had bad luck with retractable leashes so actually stopped buying them but decided to give this one a try. My dogs is about 60 pounds and likes to pull every once in a while but not nearly as bad as when he was a puppy which is one of the reasons I think the leash has lasted longer than any I have had in the past. I needed to replace an old leash I had bought from Target several years ago that stopped retracting consistently. There are a lot of choices for these retractable dog leashes here on Amazon, and I don't know which one you can really trust, with all the cheap Chinese manufacturers out there. I'm not sure why I ended up on this one, but I was preparing myself to be disappointed. I'm happy to report that I was immediately impressed by how attractive the unit was when it arrived, and how solid the construction was. It's a nice looking, solid unit, and the leash extends quite a bit longer than my old leash. Clearly better than what we were using before. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone.

This leash got a durability test the first day we got it. We took our dog for a walk and accidentally dropped the leash, the sound scared our dog and he took off running with the leash clacking behind him on the sidewalk. When we finally caught up to him we thought that the leash was doomed. Aside from a few scuff marks the leash was in perfect condition! We are very impressed. The leash is beautifully made, extremely durable and strong. It fits comfortably in the hand and is easy to grip. So far this leash gets a hefty thumbs up and 5 stars.

I figured all retractable leashes would be similar -- I was wrong. When this arrived I immediately didn't like the locking mechanism, it just wasn't very smooth and was more awkward than other leashes I have used. Now, a few months later it's completely broken and will no longer retract. I'll spend a few more bucks on my next leash.
