Highly disappointing
I could not be more disappointed in the quality of this unit. The resolution of the screen is nice, and that is the only positive I can say. The sound quality is horrific and washed out. The touch screen is highly unresponsive and delayed. There seems to be some technical difficulty at each stop. Steer clear.

Great unit with some quirks
First of all you must immediately update the software, otherwise it will be dropping connection, laggy, etc. After an update it was like a totally different HU. So far so good, very happy.

SHAME ON YOU PIONEER!
So I have had this unit in my Ram ProMaster 2500 now for less than a month. I spent well over $1400 after a professional install. I have always bought Pioneer radios, and was excited for this unit! I spent a good amount of time setting up this head unit, may I also say I am pretty technical. I updated the firmware on this unit to the latest version, which was a really pain trying to figure out, but after a successful install the unit was updated. The unit has always been very glitchy and unresponsive. I thought it was just Android Auto, but after disconnecting and process of elimination it was the head unit. My guess is the processor is slow and RAM is low! At $1000 for this head unit it is DEFINITELY not worth the money! Also if you think you will be surfing the web with the Pioneer CarAVSIST app good luck, after running Youtube it took about 5 mins to load, no way will it be fast enough. Also I had a mirror link HDMI from my phone and I was able to watch Netflix while parked, but the mirror link would cut out every 15 mins and I would have to reconnect. Pioneer completely rushed this product, Look somewhere else!

Best radio
At first I was going to really give this radio a bad rating until I worked out all the kinks I was having issues making the micro hdmi work but you need a right angled cord to do it and make sure you have enough room in the dash but anyway I love the fact you can connect your hot spot and you can watch live video on your screen or you can hook your phone via the micro hdmi and mirror your phone on the screen and watch movies that way too but the sound is nice and still a lot of functions I am still learning but over all a great radio.

Not too shabby...
I was looking for a new head unit for my 2017 Subaru Outback that supports wireless Android Auto. I didn't really care for other features. Most double DIN head units look crappy with the dash kit, so I decided to splurge on this one. All I can say is, "not too shabby".Wireless and wired Android Auto work well with my Pixel 3a. So far, no issues whatsoever... Even with the outdated factory firmware. I did try the new firmware and everything still works fine. A small issue I did encounter was a slower than usual wireless connection establishment following the update. However, connections after that happen within a few seconds. For wired Android Auto, I have the included USB C cable routed to the front storage compartment. When I need to plug in, I use a 1.5ft USB-IF certified cable. I didn't want to use any additional adapters or harnesses since I wanted to maintain the 3A charging.Other than Android Auto, the only other features I've used are the HD Radio, backup camera, and Maestro integration. All seem to work fine. Some people complain about lag on the head unit. I'm not sure if I'll call it lag, but it definitely feels more like a regular head unit than a tablet or phone, if you know what I mean. For the price and how the head unit looks, you'd imagine the UI being as fluid as your tablet or phone. Unfortunately, that's the reason for my four stars rating.

I love it
Easily the best head unit I've used. You can easily bypass the brake system with the pioneer system update. The navigation only works when you have your Bluetooth phone connected(wireless).
